Compact spinning is a spinning technology that reduces the ring spinning triangle area to reduce yarn feathers and improve yarn strength,which is generally divided into two categories: negative pressure and mechanical.The compact effect of negative pressure compact spinning is good,but there are problems such as large power consumption and high input cost.Mechanical compact spinning requires no additional energy consumption,but the range of use is limited.Based on the previous research,this paper designs a runner compact device based on the concept of reducing single yarn feathers with low energy consumption.Using mechanical force to gather whiskers,the spinning ability and applicable linear density range of the device were explored,and the spinning process was optimized.Finally,compared with other forms of compact spinning,the yarn quality level of the device is located,which provides a new scheme for mechanical compact spinning technology.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:First,based on the analysis of the genesis of single yarn hairiness,the principle of compact spinning and the mechanism of ring ingots,the rotor compact device is designed and tested.The design of the device mainly uses two rotating wheels to extrude the output whiskers to reduce the width of the triangle area and reduce the internal and external transfer of fibers to form hairy feathers.The paper elaborates the design starting point and principle,the overall composition of the device and the transmission principle,and analyzes the mechanism of action from multiple angles,including the fiber force,motion state and internal and external transfer in the twisted triangle.After the device was built,6.33g/10 m cotton roving was used as raw material and 29.2 tex yarn was trial-spun.The results showed a 40% reduction in hairiness of 4mm and above.It has been proved in theory and practice that the runner compact device has the effect of reducing harmful hair.Second,the linear density spinning ability of the runner compact device was studied.Designing 32.4 tex,24.3 tex,19.4 tex three linear density cotton single yarn spinning experiments,testing single yarn hairiness,actual linear density,breaking strength,strip dry uniformity,twist and determining that the device can be applied to 19.4tex~32.4tex single yarn.The reduction of harmful hairiness above 4 mm in the runner compact yarn was 40%~80%,the breaking strength was reduced by 1%~3%,the strong unevenness of single yarn decreased by 25%~50%,and the dry uniformity of single yarn strips of 24.3 and 19.4 tex deteriorated slightly by 5.8% and 3%,and the twist was basically no effect.Third,the optimal process combination for yarn formation using the runner compact device is obtained by optimizing the spinning process parameters.According to the problems found in the research on the spinning ability of the runner compact device,the optimization experiment of 19.4tex cotton single yarn process was designed,and the effects of extrusion force,compression spring pressure and distance between the runner and the front jaw on the quality of yarn were discussed.Through single-factor and orthogonal design experiments,the comprehensive index of yarn forming is the most ideal when the shrapnel thickness(characterizing the extrusion force between the two rotors)is 0.15 mm,the outer diameter of the compression spring(characterizing the compression spring pressure)is 12 mm,and the screw is positioned at the position line of the boss positioning hole(characterizing the distance between the runner and the front jaws)is 1 cm,the optimal process combination is verified by comparing the performance with the ring yarn.By comparing with the performance of ring yarn,it was verified that the harmful hairiness number,breaking strength and strip dryness uniformity of the rotary yarn were better than the optimal process combination of the original yarn.Fourth,under the conditions of the optimal process combination,the yarn quality level of the runner compact unit is positioned.The design single yarn density is 29.2 tex,22.4 tex,18.2tex,using ring spinning,wheel compact spinning,Rocos compact spinning,three roller negative pressure compact spinning.The single yarn hairiness,breaking strength and strip dryness uniformity tests were carried out,and the quality of negative pressure yarn was at the optimal level,and the difference between the two mechanical types was not much.And the runner compact device has a slightly better effect on 18.2tex compact than Rocos,but there is a certain gap with the negative pressure type.Therefore,it is entirely possible for the rotor agglomerator to replace Rocos.On this basis,cotton yarn with a linear density of 14.6tex was also spun by the runner compact device,and good results were also achieved.As mentioned in the review,the runner compact device designed in this paper has a clear effect of reducing harmful hair,and the structure is simple,without additional energy consumption,which is expected to be applied to a certain extent in the industry.
