Research On Guizhou Zunyi Hong Miao Costume

Zunyi Hong Miao is a western dialect branch of the Miao ethnic group that lives in the Zunyi area of Guizhou and has a small population.Zunyi Hong Miao costumes are closely related to the production and spiritual life of local people,and have become a carrier reflecting the political,economic,cultural,values and ethnic customs of Zunyi Hong Miao,and have distinctive features that distinguish them from other Miao branches in Guizhou,and possess high historical,cultural and decorative values.In this paper,based on the field survey and the collation of literature,we systematically sort out the Zunyi Hong Miao costumes,including the costume characteristics,costume techniques,costume colors,and costume functions.On this basis,it discusses the development status of Zunyi Hong Miao costumes and puts forward corresponding suggestions and measures in response to the development dilemmas and problems faced at present,in order to arouse people’s attention to the conservation of Zunyi Hong Miao costumes and in-depth research.The main body of this paper consists of six parts.In the first part,the historical background of Zunyi Hong Miao costumes is analyzed;the ethnic origin of Zunyi Hong Miao and the natural and social environment of the development of Zunyi Hong Miao costumes are analyzed,and the ethnic beliefs behind the Hong Miao costumes,namely nature worship,ancestor worship and number worship,are analyzed.The second part analyzes the Zunyi Hong Miao costumes according to the gender distinction,and then analyzes and discusses the headdress,blouse,waistband,and waistcoat according to the different dressing parts,and summarizes the dressing characteristics of the Zunyi Hong Miao costumes.The third part is about the color analysis of Zunyi Hong Miao costumes.The main color of Zunyi Hong Miao costumes is red,which is closely related to the religious beliefs and living environment of local people,and the color habits of Hong Miao people have changed accordingly with the change of times.The fourth part analyzes the pattern of Zunyi Miao costume,analyzing the theme,combination form,color combination,and cultural connotation of the costume pattern,and summarizes the unique aesthetic characteristics of the Hong Miao costume;The fifth part analyzes the production techniques of Zunyi Hong Miao costumes;taking the red dresses of Hong Miao women as an example,it discusses the processes of batik,embroidery and pinching pleats.The sixth part analyzes the functions of Zunyi Hong Miao costume,including practical,social,and aesthetic functions;it is because of the unique functions of the trinity of Zunyi Hong Miao costume that it is particularly important to strengthen the inheritance It is because of the unique functions of Zunyi Hong Miao costumes that it is especially important to strengthen the inheritance and protection.Finally,this paper analyzes the current situation of the inheritance of Zunyi Hong Miao costumes,and recognizes that the inheritance of Zunyi Miao costumes is constantly affected by the changes in the external environment,the weak protection of the inheritance subjects,and the changes in the skills of costume making.Based on this,corresponding suggestions and measures are put forward to seek measures for the effective inheritance and protection of Zunyi Hong Miao costumes from the internal and external environment.In short,this paper takes Zunyi Hong Miao clothing as the research object,comprehensively analyzes all parts of clothing,and strives to promote the in-depth study of Hong Miao clothing culture.Based on this,arouse the attention and attention of all walks of life to the Hong Miao clothing culture,so as to realize the inheritance and protection of the Hong Miao clothing culture.
