Ball screw pair is a type of high-efficiency and energy-saving transmission and positioning component,which has many advantages.It can achieve efficient and rapid movement while saving energy.In addition,ball screw pairs have the characteristics of zero clearance and high rigidity,which can provide precise transmission and positioning,making machine tracking and sensitivity higher.Ball screw pairs also have the advantages of no environmental pollution and strong adaptability.Therefore,high-speed precision ball screw pairs are suitable for most mechanical equipment and CNC machine tools,and have become an irreplaceable key functional component in various large-scale mechanical equipment and CNC machine tools,widely used in occasions where rotation and linear motion need to be converted.This study is based on the National Major Science and Technology Special Project "Key Process Technology and Equipment Development and Application for Industrialization of Rolling Functional Components" and mainly aims to research the reliability failure mechanism,test specifications,and reliability tests of ball screw pairs.The specific work includes the following aspects: first,the failure forms,failure principles,and main factors affecting the life of precision ball screw pairs are analyzed and explained.Second,based on the elastic contact theory,the contact deformation between the ball and the raceway in the transmission of the ball screw pair is theoretically calculated and analyzed.Further discussion of the functional requirements of the reliability loading test device for ball screw pairs applicable to actual working conditions is conducted.Finally,a high-load hydraulic loading test device suitable for this study is introduced.Through the above research,we can have a deeper understanding of the performance and failure mechanism of ball screw pairs.Finally,fatigue life loading experiments were conducted on ball screw pair products from different domestic and foreign manufacturers,and the experimental results were compared and analyzed.The fatigue life test results of different manufacturers were compared and processed using hydraulic loading.In addition,precision testing was performed on domestic products before the loading test.To ensure the smoothness of the test,this thesis discusses the content required for the reliability test of ball screw pairs.First,the reliability test specifications are discussed,including the selection of test objects,the determination of test conditions,the control of the test process,and the evaluation of test results.Next,the specific process of the reliability test of ball screw pairs is discussed,including preparation before the test,control of the test process,collection and analysis of test data,and evaluation of test results after the test.Finally,the results of some tests that have been conducted are summarized,and the problems and future research directions are analyzed,including the improvement of test methods,statistical analysis of test data,and reliability evaluation of test results.This thesis aims to provide guidance and reference for the research of reliability tests on ball screw pairs.
