Ball screw is widely used in electric injection molding machines and other automated machinery as a precision linear drive component. Despite ball screw's overall performance has been greatly improved, comparing with bearings, there are still many things to do in the research of ball screw. In this dissertation, the author analyzed the contact deformation of ball screw, and design the test system for ball screw's positioning accuracy.This dissertation is composed of the following parts:In the first chapter, the basic theory of ball screw and its development at home and abroad was given. Then the primary contents of this dissertation were given.In the second chapter, based on the current elastic deformation theory of single-nut ball screw, the contact deformation model of ball screw was developed and a modified formula of deformation of ball screw was derived. Based on a given ball screw, the effects of relative parameters in the axial deformation and driving performance of single-nut ball screw were analyzed.In the third chapter, the simplified finite element model of ball screw was established and the contact analysis and axial deformation analysis was conducted by FEA. At last, the results were compared with the results that were solved by the theoretical model above.In the forth chapter, based on the study above and fatigue theory, the fatigue life of ball screw was analyzed. The S-N curve of ball was got and the fatigue analysis was conducted with ANSYS-FATIGUE.In the fifth chapter, based on the clamping unit in injection molding machine, the test system for its positioning accuracy was designed and was briefly introduced.Finally, it summarized the main research and work, and the future development of ball screw was prospected...
