At present,China is in a period of vigorous economic development.As the world’s largest country of steel production and consumption,China’s steel output accounts for half of the world’s share and it has a large demand than elsewhere for refractory materials.However,there are fewer and fewer high-grade and low-impurity refractory bauxite in China,and they are in the hands of a few enterprises.In addition,the government paid increasing attention to environmental protection,having started to regulate bauxite mining and sintering.Some small mines,small factories for bauxite sintering,and shaft kilns that pollute a lot have been shut down.Although those phenomena have led to an increasingly tight supply of high-grade bauxite and raised prices,which does provide Guyanese bauxite an opportunity to enter the Chinese market.Focusing on the marketing strategy of Guyana bauxite in the Chinese market,this article firstly analyzes the macro development environment of BS companies.Secondly,the internal management factors such as human resources,serviceability,technology research and development ability,resources,and marketing status of BS company will be discussed.The SWOT analysis will be used to summarize the advantages and disadvantages of BS company’s Guyanese bauxite business marketing,the external opportunities,and challenges.Then,practical marketing strategies and their corresponding safeguard measures to ensure the smooth completion of the optimization measures will be put forward.This study aims to explore the marketing strategy planning in line with the Chinese market through a series of analyses,which can be beneficial in exploiting the domestic market and expanding the leading edge of BS company in the refractories market,and ensure that BS company always has core competitiveness.Besides,this study is valuable for further research of similar cases.
