Research To The Promotion Of The International Discourse Power Of China’s Ecological Civilization In The New Era

The world today is undergoing a great change that has not been seen in a century,the contrast of international power and the pattern of international relations are changing.In the international arena,countries are engaged in a competition between "hard power" and "soft power".International discourse,as an important part of national soft power,has always been the focus of games and competitions between countries.Western countries use their advantages to hold the international discourse for a long time,forming a "Western-dominated,Western-strong and Chinese-weak" international discourse pattern.In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,China has contributed Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions to global ecological and environmental governance.However,China’s international discourse on ecological civilization is still subject to many restrictions,Western media and countries have been making a lot of hype about China’s environmental pollution cases,and hegemonic discourses such as "Chinese environmental threat theory" and "Chinese responsibility theory" never stop.Under the international discourse pattern of "Western-strong and Chinese-weak ",China has repeatedly fallen into an indefensible discourse dilemma because it does not have a strong international discourse on ecological civilization to support it.Therefore,from the perspective of international discourse on ecological civilization,studying the enhancement of China’s international discourse will not only help to enhance the initiative and influence of China’s discourse,but also help to promote international public opinion to more truly reflect the trend of world development.This paper consists of an introduction,four chapters in the main body,and a conclusion.The article opens with an introduction,which mainly discusses the research purpose and significance of this thesis,the current status of domestic and international research,as well as the research method and innovation.The first chapter is the theoretical basis of international discourse on ecological civilization.Firstly,it identifies the connotation of international discourse on ecological civilization,especially the similar concepts,and elaborates the corresponding theoretical sources,including the support of Marxist theory of international relations and the useful borrowings from the discourse theories of Western scholars;Chapter 2 is the development history of China’s international discourse on ecological civilization.It combs the three historical stages of conception,construction and enhancement of China’s international discourse on ecological civilization after the founding of New China,and also summarizes the facts of China’s participation in the practice of international discourse on ecological civilization and innovation of international discourse claims on ecological civilization in each historical stage;Chapter 3 is the opportunities and challenges for China to enhance the international discourse on ecological civilization in the new era.The world is in the midst of an unprecedented change in a century,and the opportunities and challenges for China to enhance the international discourse on ecological civilization are analyzed from two perspectives: international and domestic,respectively;Chapter 4 is the core chapter of this study.Based on the opportunities and challenges facing China in the New Era,it proposes the path to enhance the international discourse on ecological civilization in China in order to get out of the discourse dilemma and enhance China’s international status and international influence;The conclusion is to join hands to sing the Chinese voice of ecological civilization.This chapter is the end of this thesis which points out the hope of ecological civilization lies in China,we should comprehensively enhance the Chinese international discourse on ecological civilization and build a beautiful home for the Earth together.
