| Serpentine is the main gangue mineral in copper sulfide ore of serpentine.Serpentine is easy to mud,which will cause problems of difficult magnesium reduction and low copper recovery of copper sulfide mineral concentrate.In this paper,chalcopyrite and serpentine were taken as the research objects,the internal reasons of serpentine’s influence on chalcopyrite flotation were found out,and the effect and mechanism of organic phosphonic acid surfactant on chalcopyrite and serpentine flotation separation were studied.Chalcopyrite and serpentine have great difference in floatability,which is beneficial to mineral flotation separation.However,the presence of serpentine slime will inhibit chalcopyrite flotation.The main reasons for the influence of serpentine slime on chalcopyrite flotation are as follows: under the condition of weak alkali,fine serpentine is easy to attach to chalcopyrite surface by electrostatic action,making it difficult to flotation.The entrainment of fine serpentine and activation of serpentine by copper ions can increase the gade of Mg O in concentrate.The flotation experiment results showed that: Single amino trimethylphosphonic acid(ATMP),hydroxyethyl diphosphonic acid(HEDP),2-hydroxyphosphonylacetic acid(HPAA),ethylenediamine tetramethylphosphonic acid(EDTMPS)and polyol phosphonate(PAPE)can effectively improve the flotation recovery of chalcopyrite and reduce the grade of Mg O in concentrate,and HPAA has the best effect.The results of turbidity,adsorption capacity and contact angle showed that fine serpentine was easy to attach to the surface of chalcopyrite,which reduced the adsorption of Z-200 on the surface of chalcopyrite,thus reducing its flotation recovery.The addition of organic phosphonic acid can improve the adsorption capacity of Z-200 on chalcopyrite surface and the flotation recovery of chalcopyrite.Organic phosphonic acid has little effect on hydrophobicity of chalcopyrite,but can slightly enhance the hydrophilicity of serpentine.The results of Zeta potential,adsorption capacity,magnesium ion dissolution and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy showed that organic phosphonic acid was adsorbed on the surface of serpentine,and magnesium ion was dissolved on the surface of serpentine,making the surface of serpentine become negative.At this time,the electrostatic interaction between chalcopyrite and serpentine particles changed from attraction to repulsion,which promoted the dispersion of mineral particles.On the other hand,organic phosphonic acid can make chalcopyrite surface more negative and further enhance the dispersion between particles,thus eliminating the effect of serpentine on chalcopyrite flotation.In the chalcopyrite-serpentine artificial mixed flotation system,after the addition of HPAA as regulator,the Cu grade of concentrate obtained after flotation separation increased from 31.04% to 33.06%,Mg O grade decreased from 3.67% to 1.78%,and Cu recovery increased from 42.42%to 94.51%.This paper has 53 figures,10 charts and 97 references... |
