In the 21 st century,various countries are aware of the importance of environmental protection.my country keeps up with the trend of the times,puts forward the environmental protection concept of "clear water and lush mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains",and vigorously develops green manufacturing technology.Clean processing uses less or no cutting fluid during the cutting process,and its special tools are green cutting tools.In this study,a chamfering end mill was used to mill aluminum alloy at high speed.Using simulation technology and physical experiment methods,a green cutting tool structure design method based on thermal-mechanical coupling theory was proposed,and a tool that met the process requirements was designed.The main contents of this study are as follows:1)Performance design of green cutting tools.Based on the Hopkinson compression bar experiment,the J-C material constitutive model that is more suitable for the engineering field is selected.The high-speed milling range of 7075 aluminum alloy is determined,and the thermal-mechanical coupling theory in the cutting process is analyzed theoretically.Using the gradient method,the simulation experiment of the green cutting tool is designed,and according to the experimental results,the performance index points of the tool are obtained.2)Green cutting tool structure design.The tool performance index points are mapped into the tool structure based on the thermal-mechanical coupling theory,the blade material is selected,the structural characteristics of the blade are analyzed,and the main and auxiliary two-level structural characteristics are finally determined.The research shows that the main structural features are bottom edge rake angle,relief angle,flute helix angle,and the number of flutes.Through the design of single-factor simulation experiments,the simulation and numerical calculation of the main structural design features are carried out to obtain reasonable structural feature parameters,and the auxiliary feature parameters are given according to experience.3)Construction of cutting tool edge line model and analysis of tool grinding process.By analyzing the structure of the knife body,the main features affecting the cutting performance are the cutting edge and chamfering edge.Using the space coordinate system,the mathematical model of the edge line is constructed.According to the structural characteristics of the knife body,the grinding process is compiled,and the grinding process is visually simulated by using NUMROTO grinding software.A suitable grinding wheelset and a grinding machine adapted to it were selected to complete the grinding;after testing,the grinding error of the tool was within the acceptable range.The simulation experiment was carried out in the same process environment,and the rationality of the tool structure design was verified by comparing the green cutting tool with the ordinary tool.The actual milling experiment was designed,and the cutting force and temperature field distribution data in the milling process were collected,which verified the reliability of the simulation model and the accuracy of the calculation.The experimental results show that the performance of green cutting tools is better than that of ordinary tools in the specified machining environment.In this study,the thermal-mechanical coupling theory is applied to the simulation model and the structural design of the cutting tool,and the performance index points are proposed to be obtained from the initial experiment to obtain the design parameters,to the characteristic parameter mapping in the structural design process,to the grinding process guarantee,and finally,to be verified by cutting experiments Through the complete process,the special tool for cleaning machining is designed,and the method of improving the performance of the special tool is perfected,which has a certain theoretical reference value.
