| In recent years,under the influence of various factors such as the global economic downturn,the COVID-19,and geopolitical issues,ESG(environment,society,and governance)investment strategy has gradually become an important investment decision worldwide.With the gradual emergence of environmental issues,resource shortages,social justice,and consumer rights,more and more investors are considering ESG factors as important investment considerations.Although domestic ESG investment has developed rapidly in recent years,it still lags behind the ESG investment in European and American capital markets.To adapt to the international trend of sustainable development and absorb advanced experience from ESG investment in mature capital markets.Therefore,studying the formulation and practice of ESG investment strategies is of great significance.This article takes the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund as an example and uses qualitative and quantitative analysis methods to comprehensively and meticulously explore and analyze its organizational structure,ESG investment strategy,and risk management strategy.Research has found that the fund not only focuses on environmental,social,and governance factors in the formulation of ESG investment strategies,but also focuses on long-term investment and sustainable development,forming a relatively complete ESG investment strategy framework.Specifically,in the development of ESG investment strategies,the fund participates in the formulation of international ESG investment standards,establishes ESG investment strategy principles,actively participates in shareholder voting and regular dialogue,adopts negative screening and sustainable development themed investments,and other strategies,thereby ensuring the minimization of ESG risks and maximization of returns in the investment portfolio;The study also found that the fund has adopted a scientific risk management strategy in ESG investment risk management,including identifying and evaluating ESG risks,risk-based asset divestment,and other measures.These measures help to protect the fund’s investment portfolio,reduce ESG risks,and improve the fund’s asset management capabilities and sustainability.The conclusion of this study indicates that the ESG investment strategy of Norwegian sovereign wealth funds has reference value,and has important reference significance for relevant institutions and investors in China to establish scientific and standardized ESG investment strategies.At the same time,the conclusions of this study also provide useful experience and inspiration for ESG investment research and practice. |
