With the extraction of conventional crude oil,the reserves of conventional crude oil will decrease. And heavy oil reserves are also very abundant,so studying how to effectively extract them is of great significance. This article mainly focuses on numerical simulation research on optimization of injection parameters for ordinary heavy oil polymer flooding in Block X.By analyzing the overview of Block X,including the sedimentary characteristics of the oil reservoir, the development characteristics of the oil reservoir, and the connectivity of the block.Subsequently, some polymer solution performance tests were conducted to determine the resistance coefficient and residual resistance coefficient, viscosity temperature curve, and phase permeability curve. For the determination of resistance coefficient and residual resistance coefficient, based on different polymer concentrations and molecular weights, the resistance coefficient and residual resistance coefficient can be obtained. The most suitable choice for polymer concentration and molecular weight can be selected, and these experimental parameters provide some reference for subsequent numerical simulations.Experimental study on relative permeability curve.According to the experimental results, the relative permeability curves of oil-water and oil polymer are obtained, and the influence of polymer concentration on displacement effect is analyzed. The following is geological modeling, including 3D geological modeling and facies controlled attribute models, which are coarsened;Use mathematical simulation software to fit the history of water drive stages, including historical fitting and research on the distribution of remaining oil in water drive.Numerical simulation research, including prediction of water flooding development effects and optimization of polymer flooding schemes, including the effects of polymer injection dosage, polymer concentration, injection speed, and slug combination methods.Determine a reasonable injection plan for polymer flooding, with an injection volume of 0.6PV,a polymer injection concentration of 1600mg/L,and a polymer injection rate of 0.12PV/a.The reasonable polymer slug selection is as follows: the first slug is 2000mg/L × 0.04 PV,1600mg/L for the second segment plug×0.56 PV.Polymer flooding increased oil recovery by8.31% compared to the second water flooding. The optimal solution for polymer flooding is compared with water flooding development, and the analysis of the effect of ordinary heavy oil polymer flooding on improving oil recovery is of great significance for improving oil recovery in oil fields.
