Research On The Influencing Factors Of Farmers' Participation In Domestic Waste Treatment In Ganning Town, Wanzhou Distric

In recent years,China’s rural economy has developed rapidly,and the state has invested a lot of money in the construction of new rural areas,which has made great changes in the rural living environment,but the ensuing problems of rural household garbage disposal have become more and more serious,and there are still insufficient domestic garbage treatment infrastructure,low level of environmental awareness of farmers and improper domestic garbage disposal methods in rural areas.Fortunately,some local governments are also taking active action.The government of Ganning Town,Wanzhou District,attaches great importance to rural household waste disposal,and the people-oriented governance concept not only regards farmers as the main group of traditional rural household waste generation,but also regards them as the main participants in rural household waste disposal.This paper not only helps Ganning Town to further improve the clean and livable rural environment,but also hopes to bring certain reference significance to rural household waste treatment in various places.This paper conducts field research from the perspective of farmers,adopts the method of questionnaire filling,selects Ganning Town,Wanzhou District as the research site,selects farmers in villages and towns as the main object of research,and divides the behavior of farmers when participating in domestic waste treatment into two types,one is to throw domestic waste into the garbage bin,the other is to throw the domestic waste outside the garbage can,set the above two treatment behaviors as quantity,select the basic personal characteristics,external environment,personal cognition,personal attitude,and subjective norms of the farmers as independent variables,and pass the chi-square test After filtering the independent variables,the independent variables with significant influencing characteristics were selected into the binary logistic model for data regression analysis,which explored the influencing factors of farmers’ participation in domestic waste treatment,and put forward certain countermeasures and suggestions for the significant influencing factors and the actual situation of local research.The results show that the age,monthly household income,reward and punishment system,supervision of special management personnel,local policy awareness,attitude of throwing household waste into the garbage bin,distance between residence and garbage bin,support of family and neighbors,and participation of surrounding people have a significant impact on farmers’ participation in domestic waste disposal.According to the model regression results and the survey situation,in order to further improve the enthusiasm of farmers to participate in domestic waste treatment,five corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed:(1)Take multiple measures to increase the household income of farmers.(2)Improve the reward and punishment system,and give play to the long-term supervision mechanism.(3)Strengthen the publicity of environmental protection policies and improve farmers’ awareness of environmental protection.(4)Plan garbage treatment facilities and increase investment.(5)Encourage and guide at the same time to increase the enthusiasm of farmers to participate.
