| Gear is the key basic component to realize the transformation of motion and power.It has the characteristics of constant power transmission and determines the performance of equipment to a large extent.Therefore,it occupies a very important strategic position in the construction of national economy and national defense.As a new type of gear,the geometric elements constructed tooth gear has the characteristics of convex and concave meshing point contact on the tooth surface,showing strong bearing capacity and excellent lubrication performance.It has been applied in many fields such as aerospace,ships,mining metallurgy,general industrial gearboxes and small module gear transmission.After years of research and development,for the research on the processing method of the geometric elements constructed tooth gear,it has accumulated in machining center profile machining,gear hobbing,worm grinding wheel teeth grinding,forming teeth grinding and other aspects.However,there is no relevant research on gear shaving,which is one of the efficient and economical gear finishing processes.Therefore,this paper takes the cylindrical geometric elements constructed tooth gear as the object to study the basic theory of shaving cutter design,and verifies the correctness of the relevant theoretical research through experimental research.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The basic principle of conjugate meshing of cylindrical geometric elements constructed tooth gear curve is introduced.The basic definition of conjugate curve is given.The relationship between relative velocity and normal vector of conjugate curve is solved.The meshing equation and conjugate curve equation of cylindrical gear pair with parallel axes are deduced.Using the rack and pinion method and combining with the basic tooth profile of rack normal surface,the solution method of the tooth surface equation of the corresponding gear pair is given.(2)Taking a typical two-point meshing convex and concave cylindrical geometric elements constructed tooth gear pair as an example,according to the basic tooth profile of the convex and concave gear,the analytical solutions of the complete tooth surface equations such as working section,tooth root transition section and tooth top transition section are derived.According to the motion principle of gear shaving machining,the space coordinate system of gear shaving machining is established,and the tooth surface equation of the convex and concave shaving cutter corresponding to the two-point meshing geometric elements constructed tooth gear pairs are deduced respectively.Taking the 6-module two-point meshing geometric elements constructed tooth gear pair as an example,the mathematical model of the geometric elements constructed tooth gear pair and its corresponding shaving cutter are established by using Matlab software,and the corresponding tooth surface data point calculation program is compiled.Combined with3 D modeling software,the solid model method of the geometric elements constructed tooth gear pair and its corresponding shaving cutter are given.It provides a theoretical basis for the design of cylindrical geometric elements constructed tooth gear shaving cutter.(3)Based on Python language and Eric7 IDE development tool,a design software of shaving cutter of cylindrical geometric elements constructed tooth gear is developed.It realized the design of basic tooth shape,strength check,the design of data points and geometric parameters of the cylindrical geometric elements constructed tooth gear shaving cutter.The whole process of software development is introduced,and the corresponding software function test report is given.(4)The design software developed is used to complete the design of the gear pairs and the shaving cutter.Using the shaving cutter to shave the gear after hobbing on the Y4232CNC2 shaving machine,and the surface roughness of the geometric elements constructed tooth gear before and after shaving are measured by the optical 3D measuring instrument Alicona Infinite Focus G5.The experimental results show that the surface roughness of the geometric elements constructed tooth gear is reduced to less than 0.8μm after shaving.It proves the correctness and feasibility of the shaving processing method of cylindrical geometric elements constructed tooth gear. |
