| In recent years,the domestic demand for natural gas has continued to rise.Especially since the national "gas shortage" in 2017,there will be a large supply gap in the winter heating season every year.With the introduction of the "dual carbon" goal,natural gas consumption will continue to break through record highs in the coming period.This also forces major oil and gas companies to increase investment and construction in upstream resource extraction.Despite this,my country’s natural gas supply and demand gap is still large,and its dependence on foreign countries is relatively high.At the same time,the development of the national gas industry has reached a mature stage,and companies will seize the window period of industry integration,carry out investment and mergers and acquisitions,expand large-scale,and compete for market share.As a leading company in the industry,Company H needs to consolidate its position in the industry,make use of its strengths and avoid weaknesses,accurately position itself,give full play to its advantages,and enhance its competitiveness.Company H,the research object of this paper,is the operator with the largest urban gas sales scale in China,and its natural gas consumption is close to 10% of the national apparent consumption.Faced with the strong downstream consumer demand,as a central enterprise,H Company not only needs to participate in full market competition,but also has to undertake the social responsibility of ensuring energy supply,so it faces enormous pressure in terms of gas source financing.This paper focuses on the natural gas business of H company,first of all,by analyzing the current situation of natural gas business,to find problems and summarize the reasons.According to the analysis content,this paper starts from the competitive strategy theory,uses the PEST analysis method to analyze the external environment of H company,and analyzes the competitive situation of H company through Porter’s five forces model.Then use the SWOT model to analyze the internal environment of H Gas Company,so as to provide the basis for the formulation of the competitive strategy.Through the analysis and research of the above three major competitive strategies,combined with the SWOT matrix analysis,it is proposed that the natural gas business of H Company should adopt a cost leadership competition strategy,expand the scale through extension expansion projects and deeply tap the stock potential to achieve scale effects,and optimize the natural gas source procurement mode.Reduce business costs,gain greater profits,and enhance competitive advantage.At the same time,it is convenient for enterprises to form a unified standard,which is conducive to internal control.The implementation of the strategy requires the guarantee of human resources and management capabilities.Through the research on the competition strategy of H company’s natural gas business,fully discover and analyze the problems,combine the relevant theories of business management and strategic management with the current management practice,and explore the competition strategy that conforms to the H company and the industry development trend,which has good practice.significance. |
