| In recent years,there is a high incidence of fire around the world,and 80% of the people killed by fire are asphyxiated by toxic smoke.Therefore,the research of nano magnesium hydroxide flame retardant with strong smoke suppression performance has attracted much attention.At present,the common magnesium hydroxide by hydrophilic and polymer compatibility is poor,so we need to modification,and commonly used the surface modification process generally uses " room temperature synthesis,water treatment,the surface modification" three-step method,complex process,high cost,therefore,launched the efficient,economic,and morphology of the preparation of modifted one-step modification methods.To join in the process of preparation of sodium stearate,zinc stearate,sodium oleate and KH560 modifer on the modification,the effects of the variety of modifying agent,adding amount,adding time,modified time on magnesium hydroxide physical and chemical properties and the modified mechanism,the influence of magnesium hydroxide and varieties for polypropylene(PP)of the communist party of the preparation of composite material,The flame retardant and mechanical properties of the composites were tested.The results showed as follows: 1)The activation index of magnesium hydroxide reached 99.86% and the contact angle reached 120.32° when sodium stearate was added,the modification temperature was 3%,30 min and 80C;2)The sodium stearate modifier was weakly esterified on the surface of magnesium hydroxide to produce magnesium stearate,and the dehydration condensation reaction between KH560 modifier and magnesium hydroxide took place;3)After several kinds of magnesium hydroxide and PP were combined,the LOI of the composite material was up to 25%,UL-94 was v-1,and the carbon residue was higher,and the mechanical properties were better than other kinds of flame retardants.Figure 39;Table 7;Reference 82... |
