Under the goal of "peak carbon and carbon neutral",the new power system in the future will be dominated by new energy sources,and with the increase of the proportion of new energy units installed,its volatility and uncertainty will bring increasing pressure on the power system.Electrochemical(power-to-X,P2X)technology can realize the transmission of energy from the power system to other systems and the large-scale and long-term storage of energy,which is an effective way of new energy consumption.Considering that some P2X technologies have not yet been practiced on a large scale and the related policies are still not perfect,this paper conducts a technical and economic analysis of P2X systems and explores the related support policies for P2X systems.Based on the cost analysis and calculation of P2X system,this paper constructs a model to calculate the levelized cost of P2X system,and then investigates the effects of feedstock price,annual operating hours of equipment and initial investment cost on the levelized cost of P2X system.Based on the analysis of the equivalent CO2 emission reduction of P2X system,the levelized cost of P2X system with carbon emission cost is investigated.P2X system economics in different future scenarios,taking into account changes in initial investment costs,annual equipment utilization hours and material prices.The economics of the P2X system is predicted and analyzed.Next,the P2X system parity utilization path and the P2X system parity utilization subsidy price are analyzed in terms of P2X system and P2X system parity utilization.Finally,based on the technical and economic analysis of P2X system,we propose the relevant support policies for P2X system.The results of this paper show that the current P2X technology is not economically advantageous over the conventional technology,and the most important ways to achieve parity utilization of P2X systems and the subsidy prices are measured to be different for different P2X systems.Through the prediction and analysis of the future subsidies for P2X system parity utilization,it is found that the subsidies for P2X system parity utilization will be reduced year by year.Moreover,after considering the price of carbon emission trading,the subsidy for achieving parity utilization of P2X system will be reduced,and the time of achieving parity utilization will be advanced.
