Marine biofouling adhesion causes varying degrees of damage to marine industrial facilities and ship surfaces, resulting in serious economic losses. In recent years, silicone oil has been widely used in the field of marine antifouling due to its viscosity, lubricity, and unique low surface energy characteristics. To reduce the harm caused by marine fouling adhesion and overcome the low mechanical properties and short service life of traditional antifouling coatings,a composite antifouling coating was prepared by using silicone oil absorbing resin adsorptionrelease and polyurethane matrix composite technology. The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)The basic properties of silicone oil absorbing resin adsorption-release and the adsorption-desorption properties of different types of silicone oil were studied. The effects of temperature and viscosity on the absorption of silicone oil by silicone oil absorbing resin were explored. The results showed that the increase in temperature did not significantly change the saturation adsorption capacity of silicone oil absorbing resin for absorbing silicone oil.The increase in silicone oil viscosity reduced the adsorption and desorption capacity of silicone oil absorbing resin for dimethyl silicone oil,but did not change the adsorption and desorption capacity for phenylmethyl silicone oil. When the viscosity of dimethyl silicone oil increased from 30 cst to 100 cst,the saturation adsorption amount decreased from 1.92 g/g to 1.65 g/g.(2)A series of PU-x SASOR composite materials were prepared by using a simple twostep method to blend silicone oil absorbing resin(SASOR)as filler with polyurethane resin(PU)as matrix. The surface properties and compatibility of SASOR resin for PU-x SASOR were studied. The results showed that the higher the amount of SASOR resin added, the closer the contact angle of the composite material to that of pure silicone oil,and the surface energy gradually decreased. The higher the amount of SASOR resin added to the composite material, the lower the crosslinking degree and the worse the compatibility.(3)Combined with the excellent viscosity of silicone oil and the good damping performance of polyurethane, the mechanical properties and sound insulation and vibration suppression performance of SASOR resin on composite materials were studied. The results showed that the higher the amount of SASOR resin added, the lower the tensile strength and elongation at break, the lower the elastic modulus, the softer the coating, and the stronger the sound insulation capacity. As the thickness of the coating increased, the introduction of SASOR resin enhanced the material’s resistance to dynamic load impact.(4)Finally,the antifouling ability of PU-x SASOR composite materials was studied. The results showed that after immersion in chemical reagents, there was no apparent change in the appearance of the composite material, and the alkali resistance of the composite material was lower than its salt solution resistance. The release of silicone oil in composite materials with different SASOR addition amounts was predicted.Compared with the pure silicone oil added PU-15 S,the release time was prolonged by 28.88 days and 136.6 days for PU-15 SASOR and PU-25 SASOR,respectively. In addition, protein adhesion and benthic diatom adhesion experiments both showed that marine biofouling organisms are difficult to firmly adhere to the coating surface.Combined with antibacterial experiments, the composite coating did not have an inhibitory effect on bacteria, indicating that the composite material has good environmental friendliness.
