Modern Simple Style Single Sofa Design Based On Eye Movements And Subjective Evaluation

Sofa is one of the important parts of modern furniture,but also an important furniture category in the living room.Among the many sofa categories,the single sofa has rich shape and distinct personality,and has become a common sofa type in the current family.At present,the quantitative research on the modeling design of single sofa is relatively insufficient.In the design process,designers usually design based on perceptual thinking.As a technical means of quantitative research,eye tracking technology has been widely used in applied psychology,education,advertising,design and other fields.It can be used as a feasible method for quantitative research of single sofa modeling design when combined with subjective evaluation method.In this paper,the modeling of modern simple style single sofa is studied by means of eye movement experiment and subjective evaluation.Based on the experimental research conclusions,the design of modern simple single sofa is completed.The main research results are as follows:(1)Theoretical research and design investigation of modern simple single sofa.Mainly through literature research,the connotation and characteristics of modern simple single sofa are summarized,and the modeling elements of modern simple single sofa are discussed,including form,color,decoration and material content.Through the questionnaire survey,the consumption habits of the current consumers and the factors such as the type,color and shape of the single sofa are summarized,which provides the basis for the design and eye movement experiment of the single sofa.(2)Eye tracking experiment and subjective evaluation of modern simple single sofa design.Through the eye movement evaluation experiment of modern simple single sofa structural components,it is found that the visual advantages of single sofa are the backrest and armrest.Through the eye movement evaluation experiment of the appearance shape of the structural components of modern simple single sofa,it was found that the subjects paid more attention to the round and square airfoil in the front shape of the backrest,the segmental shape and round airfoil in the side shape of the backrest,the elephant ear shape and the thick cushion shape in the front shape of the armrest,and the curved shape and arch in the side shape of the armrest.In the front shape of the integrated single sofa,the geometric shape and round airfoil shape,and in the side shape,the round airfoil shape and curve shape have higher attention.Based on the experimental results,the morphological characteristics of the single sofa components with high preference are summarized.(3)Design and application verification.According to the conclusion of eye movement experiment and subjective questionnaire,on the basis of clear design objectives,six design schemes for single sofa are put forward.According to the evaluation factors,the scheme is quantitatively evaluated to form the final design scheme.Finally,the effect drawing and engineering drawing of the final scheme are completed,and the physical object is made to verify the feasibility of the scheme.This paper can provide a theoretical reference for the study of sofa modeling design.In the application level,it can provide ideas and suggestions for the design practice of modern simple style single sofa.
