Polyester fabric digital inkjet printing is a technology with green development prospects.Its production principle shortens the process of textile screen printing such as plate making,sizing,reduces the amount of wastewater and improves the working environment,and is representative of the industry in terms of manifesting technology,fashion and green.In order to shorten the existing commonly used inkjet printing process,reduce energy consumption,and reduce waste liquid,this article systematically studies the dispersed dye grinding process,comprehensively considers the various properties of ink,selects polymers suitable for non-washable printing ink,and explores its impact on ink performance,as well as the process conditions of inkjet printing.The specific research content is as follows:Part I:Preparation of disperse dye ink paste.The fine grinding process of hightemperature type disperse dyes was studied,and the effects of dispersant,grinding process and formulation on the grinding efficiency and color paste properties of disperse dyes were investigated.The results showed that(1)using the same grinding process,the smallest particle size and highest grinding efficiency of the disperse dyes were obtained by adding dispersant MF to grind the disperse dyes.(2)The best formula and process for grinding high-temperature disperse red dye R167 is dispersant MF 12.5 wt.%,disperse dye 10 wt.%,defoamer 0.25 wt.%,and the better grinding time is 30 h.The best formula and process for grinding high-temperature disperse yellow dye Y48 is dispersant MF 10.0 wt.%,disperse dye 10 wt.%,defoamer0.25 wt.%,with a better grinding time of 20 h.The best formula and process for grinding high-temperature disperse blue dye B79 is dispersant MF 12.5 wt.%,disperse dye 10 wt.%,defoamer 0.25 wt.%,with a better grinding time of 24 h.In contrast,it is more difficult to grind disperse red dyes and easier to grind disperse yellow dyes.(3)Analysis of the properties of the homemade disperse dye paste such as particle size and viscosity before and after standing for 60 days and heat treatment showed that the stability of disperse dye yellow Y48 and disperse dye blue B79 pastes was better,and the stability of disperse dye red R167 pastes was a bit worse.Part II:Preparation of disperse dye printing inks.The solubility parameters were used to evaluate the effect of water-borne polymers on the migration of dyes in inks and polyesters,and the effects of water-borne polymer addition on ink jetting performance were investigated,and the physicochemical properties of homemade disperse dye inks were tested and analyzed.The surface morphology of the printed fabric and the penetration and diffusion of the dye in the polyester were observed by SEM and 3D super depth digital microscope.The results showed that:(1)The ink filtration performance,viscosity and printing performance were better at 0.5 wt.%PVP addition,1.5 wt.%PVA(5%)addition and 2 wt.%PEG addition,and the ink viscosities were 2.3 1,2.31 and 2.56 mPa·s,respectively;the results of TG analysis showed that the three polymers had higher thermal decomposition temperature and better thermal stability.(2)The particle size(150-270 nm),zeta potential(43.4-62.3 mV),pH(7.308.27),conductivity(4.5-7.0 μS/cm),surface tension(29.69-33.08 mN/m),and viscosity(1.8-2.6 mPa·s)of the homemade disperse dye inks were tested and analyzed.Disperse dye inks are all Newtonian fluids,and the physical and chemical properties of all inks meet the requirements of inkj et printing inks.B-PVA ink has the largest droplet volume(6.78 pL)and the smallest slant angle(90.11°),which is conducive to the formation of stable ink droplets and improved printing accuracy.(3)It was observed that the surface morphology of the fabric printed with PVA ink was smoother and flatter,which was conducive to the improvement of color fastness of the printed fabric.In addition,it was observed that the addition of water-borne polymers could improve the diffusion of dyes in PET films by super depth digital microscope,and the dye diffusion effect of PVA ink was the most obvious.Part Ⅲ:Application of washing-free disperse dye printing ink.The application performance of the homemade disperse dye printing ink was systematically tested and analyzed,and the effect of water-borne polymer addition on the printing performance of the ink was investigated.The baking and fixing process of the printed fabric was optimized,and finally,the homemade ink with PVA addition was compared with commercial printing ink.The results show that:(1)Homemade disperse dye inks are used for polyester fabric printing,the addition of water-borne polymers in the ink can improve the K/S value,washing fastness,line width change rate of the printed fabric;and the ink with the addition of PVA has better color fastness(wash fastness 3-4 and above,rubbing fastness 4-5 grade),the printed fabric has smaller bending length and softer fabric compared with other inks.(2)The printing fabric baking color process optimization,taking into account the performance of the printed fabric,and finally determine the baking color temperature of 190℃,the time of 60 s.(3)The PVAcontaining disperse dye ink and commercial ink printing performance for comparison,the printing clarity and friction fastness of homemade ink than commercial ink.But homemade ink containing PVA ink printing soap waste absorbance is slightly higher than commercial ink,the wash color fastness is still slightly lower than commercial ink.
