In the mineral flotation process,the formation of rich and stable foam is the basic element of flotation.In the flotation process,a suitable foaming agent is usually added to achieve a good flotation index.Research has found that in the current field of flotation,many collectors,such as fatty acids,fatty amines,and sulfonates,have foaming properties as well as collection properties.Fatty amine is a cationic collector widely used in the field of flotation.It has rich foam and good selectivity,but the foam produced by it has high viscosity and is not easy to defoam which affects subsequent operations and flotation indicators.In view of this,this topic uses the method of compound medicament to characterize and study the formation and stabilization factors of solution foam,and the flotation index of compound medicament.This thesis takes dodecylamine and the laboratory self-compounding DXY-1 and DXY-2 reagents as the research object,aiming to solve the problem of high viscosity and difficult defoaming of the dodecylamine foam,and to study the compounding foam performance and flotation of the reagent The effect of recovery rate and preliminary mechanism explanation.Refer to the foam performance test method in the field of surfactants,and use a foam scanner to test the foam performance and mechanism of the above-mentioned agents,mainly including:(1)Foaming ability,foam stability,bubble size,and foam conductivity in a two-phase system,Foam gas holdup,etc.;(2)Foaming property,flotation recovery rate,amount of foam per unit volume,recovery rate of foam water,etc.under three-phase system;(3)Surface tension,solution viscosity,infrared spectrum of the agent,Zeta potential,etc.Combining the above test results and test results,the structure-activity relationship between single agent,compound agent,foam performance,and flotation performance is systematically analyzed.In the gas-liquid two-phase system the foaming ability of the agent increases first and then stabilizes with the increase of the dosage of the agent.The half-life continues to increase with the increase of the dosage of the agent.The bubble size decreases with the increase of the dosage of the agent.With the increase of the dosage of medicament,it showed a trend of increasing first and then stabilizing.In addition,the pH value of the solution has a relatively large impact on the foam half-life of the drug.Dodecylamine has the best foam stability when the pH is 8 and the foam stability of the drugs DXY-1 and DXY-2 is 6.In the gas-liquid-solid three-phase foam test formed by the collector and quartz mineral particles,the volume of the foam first increases and then decreases with the increase in the dosage of the medicament The recovery rate of foam water continues to increase,and the amount of ore and quartz float per unit volume of foam The recovery rate of selection also increases accordingly.Based on the foam performance test results of dodecylamine and compound medicaments,combined with the results of the collector solution surface tension,solution viscosity,zeta potential,and infrared spectra before and after the action of the collector and minerals,the compound pairing of the medicament was studied.The influence of the adsorption of quartz on the surface of the collector.The results show that dodecylamine reaches the critical micelle concentration earlier than DXY-1 and DXY-2 agents,with lower surface tension and better surface activity,and the excessively high viscosity value makes the foam stability of dodecylamine better than DXY-1.DXY-2.However,the bubbles produced by dodecylamine are large in diameter and unevenly distributed,which reduces the effective flotation interface,resulting in a lower flotation recovery rate.Collectors DXY-1 and DXY2 can be adsorbed with quartz under any pH conditions.Electrostatic action is the mainstay in acid slurry,and hydrogen bond is the mainstay in alkaline slurry.There are three types of collectors.The receiving agent can produce hydrogen bond adsorption on the quartz surface,and the adsorption strength is consistent with the change of the flotation recovery rate.
