| In recent years,ecological and environmental problems such as the greenhouse effect,soil erosion,climate change and the reduction of biodiversity have occurred frequently,and the issue of ecological and environmental quality has gradually become a hot spot for research.The 19 th Party Congress proposed that adhering to the harmonious coexistence of man and nature is an important element of the basic strategy for adhering to and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,and that building a beautiful China is a major goal in the overall construction of a strong socialist modern state,elevating ecological environmental protection to an unprecedented strategic level.The building of an ecological environment is of great significance,but it is difficult to have a clear answer to the question of how to achieve it.The answers to the questions of how to evaluate whether the ecological environment has been effective,how far the quality of the ecological environment has developed and whether it is moving in the right direction depend on making a comprehensive and scientific evaluation of the quality of the ecological environment.Therefore,it is of great practical importance to study the level of development,the spatial and temporal characteristics and the coupling and coordination within the system of China’s ecological environment quality.Based on the above background,firstly,we summarise and sort out the main research views and research results on eco-environmental quality at home and abroad,and define the concepts and theoretical studies related to eco-environment;secondly,we construct an eco-environmental quality evaluation index system containing 20 indicators according to the "pressure-state-response"(PSR)model,and use Secondly,an eco-environmental quality assessment index system comprising 20 indicators was constructed based on the "pressure-state-response"(PSR)model.On the basis of this,we analyse the spatial and temporal trends of the comprehensive index of ecological environment quality in China’s provincial areas from 2005 to 2020,and use spatial autocorrelation analysis to explore the spatial characteristics of the ecological environment quality in provincial areas.On the other hand,we analyze the spatial and temporal trends of the composite index of ecological environmental quality in the six regions of China during 2005-2020,and measure the differences in ecological environmental quality among the six regions using the Thiel index.The spatial and temporal trends of the three sub-indices of pressure,state and response of ecological environmental quality in the six major regions of China during 2005-2020 are analysed,and the level of coupled and coordinated development of the three sub-systems of "pressure-state-response " is measured.Finally,based on the level of development,spatial characteristics and the level of coupling and coordination of China’s regional ecological environment,policy recommendations for improving the quality of China’s ecological environment are proposed. |
