Natural products are an important source of compounds, and historically, natural products from microbial, marine, animal and plant sources have provided a useful starting point for the development of important drugs.Natural products are special small molecules produced by nature that play a key role in many cellular processes. These compounds have a rich chemical diversity and are some of the most important agents for a healthy human life.Oxytropis is a subgenus of the legume family, mostly herbs and shrubs. There are 146 species of Oxytropis in China, mainly in the northeast, north and west of the country.Plants of this genus have medicinal properties and many are used in folklore as medicine for colds, redness and swelling, pain and different types of bleeding.Echinocereus spp.mainly contain alkaloids, flavonoids and triterpenoid saponins, but also some glycosides, alcohols, organic acids and other compounds, most of which have good biological activity and are widely used in Mongolian and Tibetan medicine to treat various diseases.Oxytropis ochrocephala Bunge,a perennial herb in the genus Oxytropis of the family Leguminosae,is widely distributed in the western highland pasture areas of China. The initial knowledge of Oxytropis ochrocephala originated from the fact that its ingestion by livestock such as horses, cattle and sheep in the grassland pasture areas caused chronic neurotoxicity and eventually death, resulting in serious economic losses to the local livestock industry. In this paper, the biological activity of Oxytropis ochrocephala Bunge, harvested from the Tibetan Plateau pastureland of Qinghai Province, was tested against six Fusarium oxysporum,Botrytis squamosa,Fusarium.solani,Fusarium proliferatum,Fusarium redolens and Fusarium avenaceum phytopathogenic bacteria using the activity tracing method with the crude extract of Oxytropis ochrocephala Bunge, the dichloromethane extracted phase and the fractions chromatographed on a macroporous resin column using a drug-containing medium; The fractions with good antibacterial activity were purified by silica gel column chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC),and the isolated monomer compounds were structurally identified.Finally,14 compounds were obtained, all of which were known compounds, including 10 flavonoids: Rhamnocitrin(H1),7-hydroxyflavone(H2),Luteolin(H3),Apigenin(H4),Genistein(H5),Quercetin(H6),Kaempferol(H7),Myricetin(H8),7-methoxyflavone(H9),Isoliquiritigenin(H10);2alkaloids: Matrine(H11),Sophoridine(H12);A phenolic glycoside compound: Salicin(H13);A triterpenoid compound: β-sitosterol(H14).
