Research On Performance Evaluation Of A Energy Company Based On Factor Analysis

Under the social background of the government ’s " double carbon " goal and the rapid development of digital intelligence,the traditional energy industry has been seriously affected due to its high emissions,high pollution and low innovation.The company is facing new challenges of green transformation,industrial technology innovation and active adjustment of strategic objectives.The performance evaluation system is one of the important tools to help companies formulate,adjust and achieve strategic goals.Traditional energy companies mostly adopt a performance evaluation system based on a single financial indicator.Although it is easy to operate and has low management costs,this widely used performance evaluation method gradually shows limitations and lags with the development of society.With the introduction of factor analysis method into company performance evaluation,this method is more scientific and rigorous than this performance evaluation,and can comprehensively study multiple performance indicators.Based on the factor analysis method,this paper designs a performance evaluation index system for A Energy Company in line with the characteristics of the company,and adds performance evaluation indicators for technological innovation and corporate social responsibility performance with the goal of sustainable development.Using SPSS statistical software,based on the horizontal and vertical comparative analysis of the comprehensive performance of 35 coal listed companies and A companies in the traditional energy industry in the past ten years,the entropy weighting method is used to objectively determine the weight of each aspect of performance and calculate the comprehensive performance.Through the comparative analysis of the evaluation results,the main factors affecting the comprehensive performance of A company are determined.Finally,by analyzing the core indicators of the main impact,we find out the main internal factors affecting the comprehensive performance of Company A,and put forward relatively reasonable and targeted optimization suggestions.This paper studies the scientific and reasonable performance evaluation of Company A,which helps Company A to actively adjust its strategic direction,find development countermeasures to improve its own operating conditions,provide strong reference support for the company ’s strategic transformation,and enhance its industry competitiveness and comprehensive strength.At the same time,in the theoretical sense,it enriches the research on the performance evaluation of the traditional energy industry based on the factor analysis method.In the practical sense,it provides reference value for coal enterprises to better respond to changes in the social environment.
