China’s iron ore resources are mostly poor and rich,and there are relatively few rich ores.Therefore,it is necessary to import a large amount of iron ore raw materials from foreign countries every year.How to properly match the ratio of foreign iron ore powder with domestic iron ore powder is very important for steel companies.Faced with this situation,sea sand vanadium-titanium magnetite has been valued by some domestic iron and steel enterprises because of its relatively high grade,low cost and convenient transportation.However,due to its poor performance,it is difficult to be utilized in sintered ore.It is difficult to achieve economic benefits by using it in large quantities.In this paper,based on this problem,the research on the sintering basic characteristics of sea sand vanadium-titanium magnetite is carried out.On this basis,the mixture is mixed to seek a high proportion of sea sand ore distribution scheme.During the experiment,by studying the continuous joint strength,bonding phase strength,assimilation temperature,liquid phase fluidity,and calcium ferrite generation properties of the mixed ore,reasonable sea sand,fine powder,ludwigite,limestone,etc.were obtained.The best ratio,the specific results are as follows:(1)In the experimental study on the influence of limestone on sea sand ore,the optimal ratio of limestone is 4%by studying the basic characteristics of sintering;(2)In the study of the effect of adding fine iron concentrate(SJY)on sea sand ore,when the fine powder is blended into 10%,the effect is the best,but the best effect cannot meet the metallurgical properties of the sintered ore.Thus,it is not possible to mix fine powder in the sinter of sea sand ore;(3)In the study of the influence of ludwigite on sea sand ore,the best ratio of ludwigite ore is 10%through the study of the sintering basic characteristics;(4)Based on the previous research,limestone is used as the internal ore blending in this experiment.When mixing,the limestone and sea sand minerals are first mixed,and then the mixture of the experimental design is gained by mixing with other materials.The best ratio of the sea sand mine is 15%through experiments.Under this ratio,the performance is the best,and the sea sand ore ratio can meet the metallurgical properties of the sintered ore at 25% and 30%.
