| Water mist medium wire cutting finishing is water mist as a processing medium,when using the same parameters for the workpiece line cutting processing,the surface quality of the workpiece processed in the water mist medium is better,and the use of water mist medium wire cutting processing conforms to the trend of green manufacturing,has a broad application prospect.Because of the improvement of surface quality and processing efficiency,wire-cut processing in water mist has been widely concerned,which opens up a new way for wire-cut processing technology.However,due to the difference in discharge mechanism between water mist medium and liquid medium in wire-cutting process,it is urgent to study the optimal machining parameters of variable thickness workpiece wire-cutting under water mist medium.In this paper,the position of discharge point in WEDM machining of workpiece with variable thickness in water mist is studied.By exploring the micro-mechanism of WEDM in liquid and water mist,the influences of various factors on the quality of machined surface and the distribution of discharge points were analyzed.In order to show the distribution of discharge points intuitively,this paper analyzed the evaluation methods of uniformity in different fields,combined with the research needs,and finally selected the area division to measure the uniformity and improved it.In order to analyze the distribution characteristics of discharge points in WEDM,LABVIEW software and G language will be used in this paper to build the required discharge point detection system.For the convenience of subsequent research,in addition to the necessary procedures for discharge point detection system,modules for subsequent research are also added.Based on the measurement uniformity theory of region division,the uniformity evaluation program is built by mixing LABVIEW and MATLAB to visually display the distribution of discharge points.In order to obtain a good discharge point detection system to study the distribution of discharge points,it is necessary to carry out calibration experiment,regional division distance selection experiment to improve the discharge point detection system,and finally reliability experiment to verify the feasibility of the detection system.After rough machining in the cutting fluid,through the orthogonal experiment,the surface roughness and cutting speed are taken as the process index to study the optimal parameters for machining the workpiece of different thickness in the water mist medium.After the parameters are obtained,the parameters are used to cut the workpiece of variable thickness in the liquid and water mist medium for the second time.Thus,a variety of process indicators and discharge point distribution characteristics between the two are compared,so as to verify the second cutting processing medium suitable. |
