Research On Business Performance Evaluation And Influencing Factors Of New Energy Enterprises Based On Environmental Value

In September 2020,General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed at the 75 th session of the United Nations General Assembly that “carbon dioxide emissions should strive to peak by2030,and strive to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060”.The new energy industry has high technological content,strong industrial drive and huge development potential.The development of new energy industry can bring the value of resource saving and environmental improvement,which is a key area to support China to achieve the goal of “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality” and lead sustainable economic growth.And business performance is a comprehensive evaluation indicator for effectively evaluating the competitiveness of new energy enterprises,and it is also an important weapon for enterprise management to conduct business management and strategic decision-making.The scientific and comprehensive evaluation of the operational performance of new energy enterprises has important theoretical and practical significance.This paper takes the positive environmental effects generated by new energy power generation as the starting point and constructs a new energy enterprise business performance evaluation model based on environmental value.Taking 34 new energy listed companies from2017-2021 as the research objects,the DEA model was used to evaluate the level of traditional business performance of new energy companies without considering environmental value and the level of business performance of new energy companies based on environmental value from 2017-2021,respectively,and the performance evaluation results of the two situations are compared and analyzed.Then,urther analyze the static evaluation results of operational performance of new energy power generation enterprises based on environmental value from three aspects: comprehensive efficiency,pure technical efficiency,and scale efficiency.Secondly,use the Malmquist index method to dynamically measure the level of business performance.On this basis,the Tobit regression model was used to study the important factors that affect the operational performance level of new energy power generation enterprises.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)The incorporation of environmental value indicators into the evaluation model of new energy enterprise business performance has contributed to the improvement of the measured performance results.(2)From the comprehensive efficiency measurement results,the overall operational performance level of new energy enterprises is relatively high,and they have achieved good economic and environmental benefits.However,during the research year,the comprehensive efficiency values of most enterprises fluctuated to varying degrees,resulting in insufficient management technology and scale;from the pure technical efficiency measurement results,The overall development trend of new energy enterprises is showing an improvement in technical level and professionalization of management,but there are differences in technical and management levels among different enterprises;From the results of scale efficiency measurement,enterprises as a whole have better economies of scale,but the proportion of enterprises with declining returns to scale in five years is far greater than the proportion of enterprises with increasing returns to scale.Overinvestment is common in the new energy industry.(3)The total factor productivity of business performance depends on the combined effect of the comprehensive technical efficiency change index and the technical progress change index.Technological level progress is the main driving force for the improvement of total factor productivity of enterprises.(4)The operational performance level of new energy enterprises is negatively affected by government subsidies and the nature of the enterprise,as well as positively influenced by internal incentive mechanisms and profitability.However,the effect of R&D investment is not significant.Finally,based on the above conclusions,this paper proposes targeted countermeasures to improve the level of business performance of new energy enterprises.
