Fiber reinforced composites can not only play the performance of individual components,but also reflect good hybrid properties.Carbon fiber is high in price,high in strength and modulus,while glass fiber is low in price,low in strength,but good in ductility.Through hybrid,excellent composites can be obtained.For the application of structural materials,often need to composite material has good mechanical properties and damping performance,its mechanical performance can needed to maintain the structure strength,resistance to deformation and fracture,damping performance can prevent the material brittle fracture,carbon fiber and glass fiber reinforced composites showed good prospects for development,before this study,A small number of scholars have carried out relevant studies on this,but most of them focused on mechanical properties.In this paper,carbon glass hybrid composites with excellent performance and low price were prepared by reasonable design of hybrid fiber proportion,distribution and thickness.Molding process between 2-4 layers of hybrid composites was prepared,is carbon fiber and glass fiber reinforcing fiber,matrix is epoxy resin,the first hybrid fiber proportion design,under each scale,the design of different hybrid fiber distribution,distribution form has a sandwich structure,array structure,structure without rules,etc.,after testing the mechanical properties and damping properties of composite materials,Dynamic mechanics analyzer was used to test the damping properties.Tensile mode was used to apply dynamic load on composite materials and study the damping properties of composite materials.Universal material testing machine was used to test the three-point bending of composite materials and test the mechanical properties of the materials.The results show that the proportion,distribution and thickness of hybrid fibers have great influence on damping and mechanical properties of composites.In this paper,the damping and mechanical properties of composite materials are systematically analyzed.The carbon fiber hybrid ratio has a great influence on the performance of composite materials.When the content of carbon fiber in the carbon fiber hybrid ratio increases,the energy storage modulus of composite materials increases,the loss modulus increases,and the loss factor increases.The bending strength,bending modulus and ultimate strain all increase first and then decrease.The distribution of hybrid fibers has a significant effect on the properties of composites.Stacking carbon fiber and glass fiber alternately is beneficial to improve the energy storage modulus,loss modulus and loss factor of composites.Placing glass fiber in the core layer is beneficial to improve the bending strength,bending modulus and ultimate strain of composites.The number of layers of hybrid fiber has a significant effect on the properties of the composites.When the number of layers increases,the energy storage modulus and loss modulus of the composites decrease first and then increase.The loss factor increases with the increase of the number of composite layers.With the increase of carbon fiber content in the carbon glass ratio,the natural frequency of the composites increases.The distribution of hybrid fibers also has a great influence on the natural frequency of the composites.Placing carbon fiber on the surface layer and glass fiber on the core layer is beneficial to improve the natural frequency of the composites.CGCC has excellent damping and mechanical properties.The bending strength of CGCC is 201.70 MPa,the bending modulus is 118.99 GPa,the ultimate strain is0.0019,and the loss factor is 0.033.This kind of composite has high first-order natural frequency and second-order natural frequency.The first-order natural frequency is 277.06 Hz,and the second-order natural frequency is 414.96 Hz.The results show that carbon fiber/glass fiber composite reinforced epoxy resin matrix composite has excellent damping performance and mechanical stability,and reduces the cost of the composite.This article innovation point is to design the low price,good performance of the composite material,system elaborated the distribution proportion of hybrid fiber,hybrid fiber,hybrid fiber layer on the composite damping performance and mechanism of the influence of mechanical properties,good performance of the composite material can be applied in the field of aerospace,Marine,vehicle engineering.
