Monosodium glutamate wastewater was treated by composite materials prepared by natural and inorganic macromolecular flocculants. It can not only protect the environment, save resources, but also effectively reduce costs. The composite material was prepared by the combination of natural macromolecule lignocellulose(LNC),montmorillonite(MMT)and inorganic macromolecule flocculant polymeric ferric sulfate(PFS).The effects of different preparation conditions on the properties of monosodium glutamate wastewater(COD,NH3-N)were studied. The microstructures of LNC,PFS,MMT and their composites were characterized by FT-IR,XRD,SEM,and BET.The main research results are as follows:1.Study on the treatment of monosodium glutamate wastewater by LNC and PFS and MMT.Study on the treatment of monosodium glutamate wastewater treated by LNC:when the addition amount of LNC is 0.5 g,the treatment temperature is 40℃,and the treatment time is 6 h,LNC has the best treatment effect on monosodium glutamate wastewater. The removal amount of COD is 24936 mg/L,and the removal amount of NH3-N is 7323 mg/L.Study on the treatment of monosodium glutamate wastewater treated by PFS:when the addition amount of PFS is 10 g,the treatment temperature is 50℃,and the treatment time is 7 h,PFS has the best treatment effect on monosodium glutamate wastewater. The removal amount of COD is 25001 mg/L,and the removal amount of NH3-N is 6131 mg/L.Study on the treatment of monosodium glutamate wastewater treated by MMT:when the amount of MMT was 7 g,the treatment temperature was 50℃,and the treatment time was6 h.MMT has the best treatment effect on monosodium glutamate wastewater, and the removal amount of COD and NH3-N is 27119 mg/L and 8947 mg/L,respectively.2.Preparation and treatment of monosodium glutamate wastewater by LNC/PFS compositeStudy on properties of monosodium glutamate wastewater by preparation conditions of LNC/PFS composite:when the mass ratio of LNC to PFS is 2:1,the concentration of sodium hydroxide solution is 5%,the preparation temperature is 60℃,and the preparation time is 6 h,the composite material has the best treatment effect on monosodium glutamate wastewater, and the removal amount of COD is 26932 mg/L,and the removal amount of NH3-N is 8967 mg/L.Study on the properties of monosodium glutamate wastewater by LNC/PFS composite treatment conditions:when the addition amount of the composite material is 3 g,the treatment temperature is 50℃,and the treatment time is 6 h,the treatment effect of monosodium glutamate wastewater is the best, the removal amount of COD is 25073 mg/L,the removal amount of NH3-N is 8683 mg/L.As LNC is dissolved in sodium hydroxide solution,a large number of hydrogen bonds are formed,so that molecular chains in LNC gather and intermolecular force is enhanced, and LNC/PFS composites are easily reacted with PFS.3.Preparation and treatment of monosodium glutamate wastewater by PFS/MMT compositeStudy on properties of monosodium glutamate wastewater by preparation conditions of PFS/MMT composite:when the mass ratio of PFS to MMT is 2:1,the preparation temperature is 60℃,and the preparation time is 6 h,the composite material has the best treatment effect on monosodium glutamate wastewater, and the removal amount of COD and NH3-N is 27124 mg/L and 9119 mg/L,respectively.Study on the properties of monosodium glutamate wastewater by PFS/MMT composite treatment conditions:when the addition amount of composite material is 4 g,the treatment temperature is 50℃,and the treatment time is 7 h,the treatment effect of monosodium glutamate wastewater is the best, the removal amount of COD is 27619 mg/L,the removal amount of NH3-N is 9290mg/L.PFS attached to the surface of MMT forms loose porous composite material, which is conducive to the treatment of monosodium glutamate wastewater and increases the removal amount of COD and NH3-N.
