Plywood has the advantages of low cost,good texture,convenient processing,etc.favored by various industries,as the main raw material of plywood veneer demand is also expanding.Veneer is processed from wood by rotary cutting production line,but at this stage the veneer rotary cutting production line is mostly semi-automatic processing,low production efficiency,high risk factor,economic expenditure and other shortcomings seriously affect the batch and scale production of veneer,which restricts the production efficiency and processing cost of plywood and reduces the competitive advantage of China in the international wood market.Therefore,the research and optimization of veneer rotary cutting production line is urgent at this stage.First of all,according to the current situation of domestic and foreign rotary cutting technology research,determine the future development trend and target of the production line.We use Solid Works software to build a three-dimensional model of the veneer rotary cutting production line without jamming,clarify the working principle and process flow of the production line,divide the cutting and rounding,rotary cutting processing system and grading and palletizing system,and analyze the problems and shortcomings of each system.Secondly,the structure of the cutting and rounding and rotary cutting system was improved.Optimize the truncation loading method and wood rounding process:establish the truncation plane transfer model,calculate the loading hook tilt angle formula,and determine the optimal installation distance;compare the relationship between rounding length and perimeter of wood section and propose the theory of unmanned rounding.Improve the log rotary cutting structure and veneer shearing device: increase the detection reset device to reduce the risk of rotary cutting logs;improve the shearing tool structure to increase the tool life.Design automatic loading and automatic coring device: fixed point and positioning arrangement of induction device,with motor linkage to achieve automatic loading task;using rubber shaft to replace the core position to achieve automatic coring process,improve the automation degree and processing efficiency of the production line.Develop new grading and palletizing system.According to the characteristics of veneer rotary cutting and grading palletizing requirements,determine the composition of the processing system and analyze its working principle.Construct a three-dimensional model of the grading palletizing structure,study the action position of the grading structure and design a crank rocker actuator to reach this position,determine the proportional relationship between the dimensions of each component using the transmission characteristics of the plane four-bar mechanism,establish a parametric model of the grading structure and perform Adams kinematic simulation to verify the feasibility of the designed mechanism.The visual recognition system is developed with the help of image chromatic aberration,and the image acquisition method is developed by analyzing the transmission characteristics of adjacent veneers.The grading type is determined according to the image coverage area,and the mechanical response distance is calculated by combining the action time.Finally,an experimental platform is built to verify the feasibility of developing the recognition system.XYZ(color image)and LAB conversion of the captured RGB images with the help of functions to improve the veneer image characteristics.Extract the LAB threshold value of conveyor belt,process image filtering,eliminate interference factors,delineate the recognition area,and ensure comprehensive and individual recognition of veneer.Determine the veneer grade by the way of cumulative total and equivalent coverage area of veneer image pixel points,study the experimental algorithm,and write the recognition program.Design real-board feature extraction,quality grade differentiation,and recognition accuracy verification experiments,compile experimental results,and draw conclusions to confirm the feasibility of the recognition system.
