| As a new kind of functional materials,micron sized polymer microspheres are a research hotspot in the application field of polymer materials.By inserting different chemical functional groups into polymer microspheres,the hydrophobicity,solubility and biocompatibility of polymer microspheres can be improved,so that they can be widely used in the fields of high performance liquid chromatography fillers,catalytic carriers,biomedical materials and adsorbents.As an effective detection and analysis method,high performance liquid chromatography is widely used in petrochemical,environmental detection,biomedicine and food industry.Chromatographic column is an important part of high performance liquid chromatography.With the increasing development of science and technology,it is urgent to develop and prepare stationary phase fillers with better performance.In this paper,poly(styrene-divinylbenzene)(PS-DVB),poly(styrene-methyl methacrylate)(PS-PMMA)and poly(glycidyl methacrylate-ethylene glycol dimethacrylate)(PGMA-EGDMA)polymer microspheres were synthesized,modified and applied to liquid chromatography.The specific research work is as follows:(1)PS-PMMA and PS-DVB microspheres with large particle size were prepared by seed swelling polymerization.The particle size of PS-PMMA microspheres is about 6μm.Hydrolytic PS-PMMA column showed stereoselectivity in the separation of pyrocatechol and hydroquinone.After hydrolysis modification,it has good monodispersity and good mechanical properties.The pressure is 254 MPa.The effect of the amount of monomer on the particle size and dispersion of PS-PMMA microspheres was discussed.PS-DVB polymer polymer microspheres with a particle size of about 8μm were sulfonated with 98%sulfuric acid.The pressure velocity curve of packed column can be found that the whole image basically changes linearly,which can be used for liquid phase analysis.(2)The hydrolyzed PS-PMMA and PS-DVB microspheres synthesized in this paper can be used as the packing of reversed-phase chromatography column.They all show the separation effect of theophylline,benzene,naphthalene and fluorene in acetonitrile/water mobile phase,while the elution time of hydrolyzed PS-PMMA is short and the elution time is 6 min.The sulfonated PS-DVB chromatographic column realizes the baseline separation of cytosine,uracil and thymine,and also realizes the separation of inosine and uridine.It is also found that the large particle size PS-DVB chromatographic column has a good purification effect on industrial grade phytol and has a potential application prospect.(3)Through-hole PGMA-EGDMA microspheres were synthesized,and the effects of the type of crosslinking agent and the type and amount of porogen on their pore size and pore structure were discussed.The results showed that the pore size and porosity of PGMA-EGDMA microspheres increased with the increase of the amount of toluene.When the amount of toluene was 2 m L,the average pore size of pgma-egdma microspheres was 790 nm and the porosity was 84.2%.N2 adsorption desorption experiment showed that PGMA-EGDMA microspheres had complete pore structure.PGMA-EGDMA microspheres modified by succinic anhydride can be used as the filler of weak cation exchange stationary phase,which can separate lysine and histidine,ribonuclease A,cytochrome C and lysozyme.It is expected to be used in protein separation and adsorption. |
