Research On The Innovative Application Of Character Costume Patterns In Yongle Palace’s "Chaoyuan Mural"

"Chaoyuan Mural" is the representative work of Yongle Palace murals,and it is also the pinnacle of Chinese Yuan Dynasty temple murals."Chaoyuan Mural" has a profound historical and cultural accumulation,and its painting techniques,characters’ costumes,and exquisite patterns all play an important role in related research fields.The character clothing pattern of "Chaoyuan Mural" stands out in the modern national fashion with its exquisite shape and unique and comfortable color matching.It is a pattern element with great application prospects in the design and fashion circles.This paper takes Yongle Palace’s "Chaoyuan Mural" as the research object,and focuses on exploring how the Yongle Palace’s "Chaoyuan Mural" figure clothing pattern can be innovatively applied to modern design.While inheriting traditional culture,it broadens the "Chaoyuan Mural".The modern application field of character clothing pattern makes the pattern of "Chaoyuan Mural" have higher competitiveness and added value in the new consumption era.This paper mainly studies from the following five aspects:(1)Research on the costume patterns of the characters in "Chaoyuan Mural".From the aspects of pattern subject matter,pattern color,pattern composition,etc.,and in-depth analysis respectively,the artistic characteristics and cultural connotation of the characters’ clothing patterns in "Chaoyuan Mural" are summarize.Provide a feasible basis for the research content of the subject.(2)This paper analyzes the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of Yongle Palace Mural Art Museum in the modern market competition.The figure clothing pattern in "Chaoyuan Mural " is one of the representatives of traditional Chinese patterns.This paper analyzes the relevant questionnaire survey on the application of traditional patterns to modern design.(3)This paper analyzes the essence drawn from traditional patterns in excellent cases of museums at home and abroad,interprets the innovative application methods of traditional patterns in excellent cases of museums at home and abroad,and summarizes the modeling rules and expression techniques of traditional patterns in modern design.A set of universal feasibility innovation application principles and methods,in order to provide a reference for the majority of design workers.(4)Based on the principles and methods of innovative application of the costume patterns of "Chaoyuan Mural",which were summarized above,the costume patterns of "Chaoyuan Mural" were recreated.Taking clothing as the carrier,three series of clothing design works are designed,which realizes the transformation of traditional patterns into fashion while retaining its unique artistic style.The combination of theory and practice verifies the feasibility of innovative application strategies.(5)From the perspective of commercial value and inheritance value,this paper analyzes the value of the fusion of the characters’ clothing patterns in "Chaoyuan Tu" and the application of modern design,as well as the thinking of related extension.
