| In the rubber industry,plasticizers can improve the processing properties of rubber products,and the consumption of rubber plasticizers is huge.However,traditional rubber plasticizers are small molecular compounds based on petroleum resources,which do not conform to the concept of green development.Vegetable oils such as soybean oil and palm oil have large molecular weight and high melting point.They have high thermal stability in the rubber matrix and are not easy to migrate out.They can be used as plasticizers for tire tread rubber.However,vegetable oil has a high freezing point,and it is very easy to solidify in winter,which is not convenient for use.On the other hand,silica can improve the wet skid resistance of tires and reduce the rolling resistance of tires.It is the most common reinforcing filler for "green tires".However,white carbon black is a nano-powder,which is prone to problems such as dust flying and difficulty in dispersion during tire processing.Therefore,developing a new type of environmentally friendly plasticizer and preparing a silica-loaded plasticizer can solve the above-mentioned problems.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)Four kinds of vegetable oil plasticizers were selected and added to the tread rubber to study their effects on the properties of rubber composites,and compared with petroleum-based plasticizers.The results show that the addition of vegetable oil plasticizers can effectively reduce the Mooney viscosity of the rubber compounds,improve the processing performance of the rubber compounds,shorten the vulcanization time,reduce the energy consumption,and the larger molecular weight is not easy to migrate from the rubber compounds.However,vegetable oil plasticizers will reduce the crosslinking density of vulcanizate to a certain extent,which will reduce the mechanical properties.The dynamic mechanical properties of the rubber compounds with palm oil(PO)are the best among the four vegetable oil plasticizer samples,and has static mechanical properties similar to petroleumbased plasticizers plasticized rubber.(2)In order to improve the dispersion effect of silica particles in the rubber matrix and reduce silica fugitive dust during rubber processing,surface treatment is carried out.The method of loading plasticizer was used to prepare silica-loaded palm oil plasticizer(LPO)for the first time,and its physical and chemical properties were characterized,and its influence on various properties of tread rubber was systematically analyzed.The results show that: PO acts as a physical separator to separate silica particles,which improves the processing performance of the rubber compounds,and effectively improves the dust problem of silica during processing.Compared with PO,LPO has better plasticizing effect and better dispersion of silica particles in rubber matrix.Dynamic mechanical property analysis shows that LPO can reduce the tanΓ of rubber composites,and can also reduce compression heat generation.(3)In order to avoid competing with others for food and to reduce the cost of plasticizers,the feasibility of using kitchen waste oil(KWO)as a rubber plasticizer was explored.Due to the high odor and high freezing point of kitchen waste oil,its direct use as a plasticizer is affected.Based on the research results of the previous two chapters,this chapter prepared silica-loaded kitchen waste oil plasticizer(LKWO),and systematically analyzed its influence on various properties of tread rubber.The results show that compared with PO samples,the KWO samples have higher crosslinking density due to the lower content of double bonds in KWO.Compared with KWO,LKWO has better plasticizing effect,which can improve the processing performance of rubber,and can effectively reduce the Payne effect of the rubber compounds and improve the dispersion effect of fillers.Static mechanical analysis shows that KWO and LKWO samples have higher 100% and 300% tensile strength than PO and LPO samples.Dynamic mechanical analysis shows that the LKWO sample has a lower tanΓ.The results of this part of the research are expected to apply kitchen waste oil to rubber,which has good social significance and application value. |
