| Butanone and ethyl acetate are common chemical raw materials and organic solvents in industrial production,but the mixture is difficult to be separated effectively by conventional distillation because of the existence of the euboiling point between them.Therefore,in this paper,for butanone-ethyl acetate azeotropic system,a total of three extraction agents were selected,including ionic liquid[HMIM][NTf2],[EMIM][NTf2]and conventional solvent EG,to study the extraction distillation separation scheme.(1)The vapor-liquid equilibrium(VLE)data of butanone-ethyl acetate binary system at atmospheric pressure were measured by vapor-liquid equilibrium kettle and compared with the data in literature to verify its thermodynamic consistency.Then,the VLE data of butanone-ethyl acetate-[EMIM][NTf2],butanone-ethyl acetate-[HMIM][NTf2]and butanone-ethyl acetate-EG were measured respectively,and three concentration series of 0.05,0.1 and 0.15 were set for mutual comparison.(2)After further calculation,the experimental data of the three extraction agents were compared horizontally and vertically.The results show that the three extraction agents can effectively break the azeotrope between butanone and ethyl acetate,and the higher the concentration,the more obvious the separation effect.However,the separation abilities are different,which is[HMIM][NTf2]>[EMIM][NTf2]>EG.(3)Wilson,NRTL and UNIQUAC thermodynamic models were used to fit binary and ternary VLE data,and the binary interaction parameters of different models were obtained.The results show that for the selected system,the fitting deviations of the three thermodynamic models are all less than 0.05,which is within the acceptable range,that is,each model has good applicability for the studied system.But NRTL model has the best fitting effect and better adaptability.(4)On the basis of NRTL model,the process of extract butanone and ethyl acetate with[HMIM][NTf2]and EG was simulated by Aspen Plus,and the whole process was further optimized with TAC as the target on the premise of achieving product quality.The comparison results show that under the same product requirements,using[HMIM][NTf2]as extractant,the amount of extractant,TAC and operating energy consumption are all smaller than the other one.In summary,butanone-ethyl acetate system was selected as the research object,[HMIM][NTf2],[EMIM][NTf2],EG as the extractant,and the basic phase equilibrium data were measured.Wilson,UNIQUAC and NRTL models were used to fit VLE data,and the binary interaction parameters and applicability conclusions of the models were obtained.On this basis,the scheme design and process simulation of ionic liquid extractive distillation of butanone-ethyl acetate are completed,which provides a reference basis for future industrial application. |
