At present,clean and efficient utilization of coal is the most effective measure for double carbon economy.Increasing the proportion of coal washing is an important means to speed up the adjustment of energy structure and increase the supply of clean energy.In order to reduce the environmental pollution caused by washing waste and make full use of its useful mineral components,the comprehensive utilization of waste is imperative.China has a lot of kaolin resources,but China lacks a good deep processing capacity of kaolin,and high-quality resources depend on imports for a long time.The top priority for the future development of kaolin industry will be to strengthen the washing and processing capacity of kaolin,so as to turn medium quality resources into high-quality products and low-quality resources into usable products.Therefore,this test is in line with the trend of coal industry and kaolin industry,and can provide a new direction for the utilization of solid waste in coal preparation plant,with great social benefits and economic prospects.In this thesis,Tangshan flotation tailings are selected as the research object to explore the significance and influence of different factors in each separation mode on the impurity removal effect in the process of preparing Kaolin from flotation tailings.The effects of decarburization,iron removal and titanium removal by flotation were investigated through flotation tests.The results showed that when the oil ratio was 1:1,the flotation perfection index was 46.58%,and the effect was the best.It was also found that prolonging the foaming time could significantly improve the ash content of tailings.Then through the positive cation flotation and negative ion flotation tests,it is finally concluded that the yield and separation effect of positive cation flotation test is significantly better than that of positive anion flotation.In order to further optimize the test,selective flocculation and high gradient magnetic separation tests were carried out.The results of selective flocculation test show that flocculation has certain impurity removal effect;The test results of high gradient magnetic separation show that the content of Al,Fe and Ti still lags behind the index-Al2O3≥28%,Fe2O3≤1.8%,Ti O2≤0.6%,and subsequent separation is still required for iron and titanium reduction.Based on the above,the experiment of chemical bleaching was carried out.The results showed that the effect of chemical bleaching on iron removal was very good,the effect on Ti removal was poor,and the pickling time had a significant impact.Prolonging the pickling time was conducive to iron reduction,but it should not be too long.The optimal bleaching time under the experimental conditions was determined to be 120min.Finally,through the combination of different separation methods,kaolin products for industrial use are prepared under laboratory conditions,which provides certain test data support for the high value-added utilization of flotation tailings.
