Mine water inrush disaster is one of major disasters that hampers mining and threatens underground workers’ safety.Mine water inrush disaster not only causes a huge loss,but also has a long duration.The ability of predicting flooded areas and planning escape routes efficiently is the last line of defense in safe production when the water inrush accident occurs.Therefore,the simulation of mine water inrush and escape route planning and rendering of the scene using visualization technology based on computer graphics and network analysis algorithms is of great practical value.Major contributions of this thesis are presented as below:(1)A mine water inrush algorithm was designed based on the research on general laws of mine water inrush movement.According to the functional relation between flood level and escape speed,the weight of roadway network can be computed dynamically,where transit time is specified as the weight.A dynamic escape route search algorithm is then designed by combining this mathematical model with the conventional Dijkstra algorithm.(2)This thesis deeply researched the PyQt Graphic User Interface library and VTK,the visualization toolkit,and developed mine water inrush simulation and escape route analysis system based on PyQt and VTK.General designs of the functional architecture and the graphic user interface try to fit user habits and routines of using 3D geological software as well as possible.(3)VTK rendering pipeline was built on the PyQt framework,and then VTK was used to import and render 3D geological model,3D roadway and inrush water.Related algorithms were utilized to realize the simulation of mine water inrush and dynamic escape route searching.Also,a series of visualization functions were realized,including picking,interactive clipping of 3D geological model,viewport operation,and so on.(4)This thesis built a 3D geological model of Maoping lead-zinc mine using Geo Modeller software and took this model as a geological background to test and display all the functions of the system.And a mine water inrush scene simulation was performed and the result of the simulation was analyzed.The system of the mine water inrush simulation and escape route analysis was designed and developed in this thesis to calculate and specify the flooded areas and render the inrush water in real-time,and to plan dynamically the corresponding optimal escape route.The research results of this thesis can feasibly support emergency preplans for mine water inrush disasters,and are of great practical value.
