Study On The Impact Of Environmental Awareness And Skills On Farmers’ Pro Environmental Behavior In Qinba Mountain Area

Qinba mountain area is not only an ecological protection area,an ecological fragile area,but also a concentrated and contiguous poverty area in China.How to protect green water and green mountains and develop Jinshan and Yinshan has become an important issue in its Rural Revitalization Strategy.Because tea is an endogenous industry of "green water and green mountains",it has become one of the pillar industries of Rural Revitalization in Qinba mountain area.By 2018,there were 50 tea producing counties in Qinba mountain area,and the area of tea gardens reached 6.7536 million mu,accounting for 15.4%of the total area of tea gardens in China.However,with the development of tea economy in Qinba mountain area,its ecological environment is facing a threat.The reason is that farmers pursue micro economic benefits while ignoring macro ecological benefits in the process of tea planting.Therefore,encouraging tea farmers to implement Pro environmental behavior with "win-win" effects of economic and ecological benefits is of great significance to increase farmers’ income,protect the "green water and green mountains" in Qinba mountain area and promote its rural revitalization.Based on the research literature at home and abroad and the survey data of 708 tea growers in Qinba mountain area,this paper analyzes the current situation of tea farmers’adoption of Pro environmental technology and waste Pro environmental treatment behavior,and uses the conditional process model to explore the impact of environmental awareness and skills on tea farmers’ adoption of Pro environmental technology,Using the bivariate probit model,the effects of environmental awareness and environmental skills on the pro environmental treatment behavior of tea farmers’ waste were discussed,and the corresponding policy suggestions were put forward.Through the above research,this paper draws the following conclusionsFirst,the environmental emotion in environmental consciousness not only positively affects the adoption of Pro environmental technology by tea farmers,but also indirectly affects the adoption of Pro environmental technology by tea farmers by promoting the improvement of environmental skills.The economic benefit plays a positive regulatory effect in the adoption of environmental skills and pro environmental technology.The higher the economic benefit,the more tea farmers tend to adopt Pro environmental technology;Although environmental responsibility cognition,environmental knowledge and environmental attitude can not directly affect the pro environmental technology adoption behavior of tea farmers,they can indirectly affect the pro environmental technology adoption behavior of tea farmers through environmental skills;Second,environmental emotion,environmental knowledge and environmental attitude positively affect the pro environmental treatment behavior of tea agricultural material waste.The more positive the environmental emotion of tea farmers is,the richer the environmental knowledge they master and have a positive environmental attitude.The more willing they are to adopt the pro environmental material waste treatment method,for the pesticide bottles Fertilizer bags and other agricultural material wastes are more willing to be sent to centralized treatment points for recycling;Environmental skills are significantly positive to the pro environmental treatment behavior of tea farmers’ productive waste.When tea farmers have more environmental skills,they are more willing to adopt productive waste treatment,and are more willing to return the pruned tea leaves to the field naturally and reuse them as resources.Third,there is a significant positive interaction between environmental emotion and environmental knowledge,that is,improving tea farmers’ emotional enthusiasm and enriching tea farmers’ environmental knowledge can promote the adoption of Pro environmental treatment behavior of material waste by tea farmers;There is a significant positive interaction between environmental responsibility cognition and environmental attitude,that is,improving tea farmers’ environmental responsibility cognition and mobilizing tea farmers’ environmental attitude can promote tea farmers’ adoption of productive waste Pro environmental treatment behavior.Fourth,the education level of the head of household has a significant positive impact on the adoption of Pro environmental technology by tea farmers and the pro environmental treatment of materials and waste.The higher the level of education received by households,the more they can keep up with the progress of science and technology,understand and learn Pro environmental production technology,and apply Pro environmental technology to actual production and life.At the same time,it is more willing to adopt the pro environmental treatment method for the waste treatment of agricultural materials,and it is willing to put the agricultural film,pesticide bottles and other packaging materials into the centralized treatment point for recycling,rather than discarding and burying them at will.Based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward the following policy suggestions:first,the government should use various forms to stimulate the environmental emotion of tea farmers,moderately awaken the "suffering emotion" of tea farmers,vigorously enhance the"positive emotion" of tea farmers,further stimulate the motivation of tea farmers to adopt Pro environmental technology by stimulating the environmental emotion of tea farmers,and help tea farmers get out of the situation of "knowing is easy and doing is difficult";Second,the Agricultural Machinery Department of the government should actively carry out the training of new agricultural technology.By carrying out agricultural technology training courses and organizing expert exchange meetings,it can regularly publicize Pro environmental technology to tea farmers,strengthen the promotion of Pro environmental technology by the government,and improve the willingness of tea farmers to adopt Pro environmental technology as a whole;Third,relevant government departments should actively introduce agricultural assistance projects to promote the integrated development of tea production in Qinba mountain area.The government can introduce agricultural assistance projects,cooperate with foreign manufacturers,broaden the sales channels of tea in Qinba mountain area,and help Qinba mountain area tea "go global".Tea farmers’ sales of tea are no longer limited to cooperatives,tea economic persons and other ways;Fourth,the government should actively publicize the knowledge related to waste Pro environmental treatment.The government can hold special lectures and invite experts and scholars from agricultural research institutes to hold a symposium in Qinba mountain area to publicize the pro environmental treatment methods of waste.At the same time,the government can organize tea farmers in Qinba mountain area to go out to study in batches and go to other major tea production areas to learn about the reuse and treatment methods of other people’s resources;Fifth,the government should pay attention to the publicity and education of tea farmers in Qinba mountain area and improve their awareness of environmental responsibility.In daily life,the government adopts a popular and acceptable way for tea farmers to publicize and strengthen the publicity and diffusion of environmental responsibility protection.
