With the rapid development of China’s electric power industry,with the continuous optimization of enterprise production indicators,the demand for power quality is getting higher and higher.The non-linear load in the power grid generates a large number of harmonics in the production process,polluting the power grid and forming harmonic pollution.Nonlinear load consumes a large amount of reactive power,which needs to be compensated to improve the power factor.Based on this background,this paper develops a TCR+FC SVC based on DSP.The main research work is as follows:(1)The background and significance of the research,the threat of reactive power to the power grid,the development of reactive power compensation technology and the application status of thyristor trigger technology at home and abroad are introduced and summarized.(2)Several kinds of SVC devices and their characteristics are analyzed in detail,and the comprehensive analysis and comparison of multi-index are made.Finally,TCR+FC type SVC device is selected and the working principle of related devices is studied.(3)The setting principle of TCR+FC type SVC device is analyzed,the electric load and main parameters used in 35kV substation of steel-making arc furnace production line are analyzed and calculated,the power quality of its power supply system is evaluated,and the corresponding compensation scheme is given,and the working principle and structure of TCR+FC type SVC are studied.(4)The hardware of TCR+FC SVC is designed with DSP as the core of compensation device,which mainly includes FC filter,TCR phase-controlled reactor and controller system.(5)The software design includes AD sampling software module,control algorithm software module,human-computer interaction software module,real-time clock software module and serial communication software module.(6)The feasibility of the design is verified by simulation study.From the actual application results,it can be seen that the TCR+FC type SVC device designed in this paper can restrain the voltage fluctuation caused by load fluctuation to a certain extent and improve the load imbalance.It has practical engineering application value.
