Design Of Seat Based On Caozhou Rope Weaving

As an indispensable furniture product in people’s home life,seat not only needs the innovation of modeling,but also needs to draw essence from traditional culture and inherit innovation,innovate its shape and technology,and make it have cultural connotation.As an indispensable part of Chinese traditional handicrafts,Caozhou rope weaving has its unique rope weaving skills,texture patterns and culture from both artistic and cultural perspectives.Therefore,this paper studies and innovates Caozhou rope weaving,improves its weaving techniques,innovates texture patterns and applies them to the design of seat,studies the relevance between Caozhou rope weaving and seat design,analyzes the feasibility of the combination of the two with scientific means,and verifies its feasibility with experiments.Finally,it will be applied to the design practice of seat,which is mainly divided into three parts:(1)Research on the origin and development of Cao Zhou’s rope weaving works,color matching materials,etc.(2)Through the analysis of the existing excellent cases of woven seat,the analysis of rope woven seat and pattern texture;Analysis of rope woven seat and culture;The analysis of the combination of rope weaving seat and color has laid a certain foundation for the combination of rope weaving and seat design in Caozhou.This paper analyzes the feasibility of the combination of Caozhou rope weaving technology and seat design,analyzes that the material and knitting ability of Caozhou rope weaving can meet the requirements of furniture mechanical properties from the part of rope weaving as seat and through experiments,and carries out furniture mechanical tests on rope weaving as seat surface,which finally proves the feasibility of the combination of Caozhou rope weaving technology as a kind of rope weaving technology and seat design.(3)Starting from the texture pattern and material of Caozhou rope weaving,this paper analyzes the advantages of Caozhou rope weaving technology in seat design;Based on the characteristics of Caozhou rope weaving,this paper summarizes the design method based on skill simplification,multi material combination and transplantation and regeneration.Based on these three design methods,the innovative design practice of seat is finally carried out,and the mechanical properties of furniture are experimentally verified.It is proved that Caozhou rope weaving technology can be combined with seat design.By analyzing and discussing the mechanical properties of Caozhou rope weaving and the mechanical properties of the seat surface,it is concluded that Caozhou rope weaving technology can be well integrated with the seat design.The feasibility of combining Caozhou rope knitting with other products is expanded,and a reference basis is provided.
