Volatile organic compounds(VOCs)play a key role in the reduction of air quality, such as air pollution, smog, and ozone pollution, and pose a huge threat to human health.VOCs have complex components and various sources, and source emission reduction is the most effective means of controlling them.Exploring the sources of VOCs emissions, constructing emission inventories, and identifying characteristic pollutants are important basis for seeking targeted emission reduction plans. This study uses the national economic industry as the basis for the classification of industrial enterprises, including 33 categories Ⅰ,179 categories Ⅱ,and 199 categories Ⅲ,which has a higher practical reference value.According to the on-site investigation of 20 enterprises in Jinan City, the VOCs emission factors of 14 industries were revised by adopting material balance calculation and on-site monitoring method. The geographical location, industrial output value, production and pollutant control level of 646 typical enterprises were collected, and a list of VOCs emission sources of typical enterprises in Jinan was compiled to explore the total emission of VOCs and the emission of each component in different industries. In order to clearly show the geographical location of enterprises and the spatial distribution of VOCs emissions,a high-resolution spatiotemporal distribution map of VOCs emissions from typical enterprises in Jinan was drawn with the help of ArcGIS and Mapinfo software. The environmental impact of VOCs emission was analyzed from the aspects of ozone formation potential(OFP)and secondary organic aerosol formation potential(SOAP).The unit output value emissions and environmental impact indicators were introduced to explore the relationship between VOCs pollution emissions and economic benefits. The research results found that:(1)646 typical enterprises in Jinan City emitted a total of 20678.88 t of VOCs in 2018.The chemical industry has the highest emissions, accounting for 17.37%of the total emissions, followed by the non-metallic products industry and the petroleum processing industry;among the six VOCs component categories, the alkane emissions are the largest, accounting for 5592.53 t,accounting for 27.04%,followed by aromatic hydrocarbons(26.83%),OVOCs(23.82%),alkynes(8.96%)and halogenated hydrocarbons(5.65%);(2)For perspective of spatial distribution, enterprises in the eastern part of Zhangqiu and the the northern part of Licheng has obvious spatial aggregation. The VOCs emissions of enterprises in Zhangqiu,Jiyang,Licheng and Pingyin are higher than other districts and counties;(3)The total OFP of typical enterprises is 60572.26t,and the contribution of aromatic hydrocarbons is the highest(49.44%),followed by unsaturated hydrocarbons(26.04%)and OVOCs(15.97%);(4)The total amount of SOAP is 1170.97 t.Alkanes and aromatic hydrocarbons have the highest contribution, accounting for 47.93%and 47.30%;(5)Comparing the unit output value OFP and SOAP of each industry,it is concluded that the comprehensive environmental impact level of the rubber and plastic products industry is higher than other industries. From the perspective of emission and environmental impact, the characteristic pollutants are comprehensively screened:toluene,m/p-xylene,ethylene,1,2,4-trimethylbenzene,ethanol,dodecane,acetone,propylene,undecane,methanol.Eight key control industries have been comprehensively identified, namely:chemical fiber manufacturing, rubber and plastic products, chemical industry, printing industry,non-metallic products industry, petroleum processing industry, textile industry, and heat, power, water and gas production and supply, and for these industries VOCs The main reasons for the higher emissions and the issues that need to be focused on,the sources of pollution and control strategies are discussed. And from the perspectives of inspection and supervision, fugitive emission control, pollution equipment upgrade, industrial structure and industrial layout adjustment, etc.,Jinan’s industrial VOCs emission reduction suggestions are put forward.
