| With the development of global industrialization, the demand for dyes is increasing, which leads to more dye wastewater. How to treat a large amount of dye wastewater has become one of the research hotspots of researchers all over the world.Among many methods of printing and dyeing wastewater treatment, adsorption and photocatalysis are widely used because of their low cost, simple operation, wide range of application, high efficiency and little impact on the environment. However, the reported adsorbents and photocatalysts still have room for improvement in adsorption capacity, adsorption selectivity and catalytic selectivity.Since the discovery and application of functional carbon materials in 1985,they have strong application prospects in various fields. We have prepared high-performance functional carbon nanomaterials by hydrothermal method and other feasible methods, and used them as adsorbents and photocatalysts to treat printing and dyeing wastewater, and achieved ideal results. The main contents are as follows:(1)Using glucose as carbon source, carbon materials with different morphologies and sizes were prepared by hydrothermal method under different conditions.Using modern technology to characterize the prepared materials,it is found that adding cetyltrimethylammonium bromide as additive, and using 160 ℃ for 20 hours, the carbon spheres with good morphology, uniform size and good dispersion can be prepared, and the particle size is about 500 nm.The prepared carbon spheres were used to adsorb dye wastewater containing rhodamine B under light. It was found that light was helpful to enhance the adsorption of rhodamine B.(2)Sodium hydroxide was used to modify the hydrothermal carbon spheres, and nano Zn O was loaded on the modified carbon spheres. The material was used as adsorbent to adsorb methylene blue.Compared with the unmodified carbon spheres, the adsorption capacity of Zn O coated carbon spheres for methylene blue increased by 45 times, and compared with the modified carbon spheres,it increased by 9 times, reaching 950.37 mg /g.Then the material was used to adsorb other substances, and it was found that the material also had a certain adsorption capacity for other dye molecules.(3)The composite was prepared by loading silver nanoparticles on the surface of the carbon spheres modified by sodium hydroxide. The material was used for photocatalytic treatment of Rhodamine B in dye wastewater. It was found that the modified carbon spheres loaded with silver nanoparticles could degrade rhodamine B solution with an efficiency of88.9% under illumination for 3 hours. The trapping agent was used to analyze the photo active substances in the photocatalytic reaction, and it was found that the main active substance in the process of photocatalysis was superoxide radical. |
