As one of the most common elements in the nature, with a lot of structure and form, carbon now is active in various application fields. Carbon sphere in recent years is one of the most active carbon materials, has a series of excellent physical and chemical properties.Graphene, as the only stable two-dimensional material, has been the hotspot of scholars.Along with the increase of all kinds of poisonous and harmful gas, people have more and more high requirement of gas sensitive materials. While graphene and carbon spheres possess large specific surface area, excellent electric conductivity, etc., which makes both have great application prospect in gas sensitive materials. In this paper, the uniform dispersion of carbon spheres were prepared by hydrothermal method, and utilized different metal as the catalytic to improve the degree of order. And the graphite oxide was prepared by modified Hummers method, then we got carbon sphere/graphene composites by ultrasonic method, annealing, using XRD, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and scanning and transmission to characterize the morphology and structure of the composite material. The more in-depth research was made in the gas-sensing properties of the composites, the concrete content is as follows:(1) The uniform dispersion of carbon spheres were prepared by hydrothermal method, and utilized Cu、Ni as the catalytic to improve the degree of order., using characterization methods such as XRD, Raman spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared infrared spectra,SEM, Tem, etc. to characterize、 analysis the morphology and structure of the carbon spheres. The results showed that after a catalytic process, the carbon spheres had a improvement on its degree of order.(2) The graphite oxide was prepared by modified Hummers method, and carbon spheres/graphene composites was obtained by ultrasonic treatment, reduction of hydrogen annealing, We characterized and analysized the morphology and structure of the composite materials through XRD, Raman spectroscopy, Fourier transform infraredspectrum, SEM. The results showed that carbon spheres dispersed much more evenly among graphene layers, and had a certain action as connection.(3) The gas sensor test of composite materials was made in the NO2, composites showed good response sensitivity under the condition of room temperature.
