Research On The Impact Of "Heavy Pollution Label" On Enterprises’ Green Innovation Investment And Its Performance Under Environmental Regulation

Since the reform and opening up,China’s population has increased rapidly and its economy has developed rapidly.Heavy polluting industries have become the pillar industries of the national economy,which will cause damage to the natural environment and ecosystem to some extent,so environmental protection is urgent.Heavy polluting enterprises belong to high pollution-intensive industries,and environmental protection is inseparable from them.Heavy polluting enterprises need to realize transformation and upgrading through green innovation and innovation.In response to environmental problems,the government constantly strengthens environmental regulations,which will have a considerable impact on the green innovation of heavily polluting enterprises,and even affect the transformation and upgrading of enterprises.Zijin mining,therefore,this paper selects the heavy polluting enterprises as the research object,using the case method,a comprehensive system analysis in environmental regulation pressure of heavy polluting enterprises green innovation investment effect mechanism,and based on the characteristics of heavy polluting enterprises,analysis of environmental regulation can promote the enterprise green innovation,can improve the cost,profit,investment and financing behavior.This paper mainly studies the following three questions:(1)What impact will the continuous strengthening of environmental regulation have on the heavily polluting enterprises?How big is the impact?(2)Under the pressure of environmental regulations,how do heavily polluting enterprises carry out green innovation?The concrete path of green innovation investment of heavy polluting enterprises.And the cost,profit,investment and financing behavior caused what impact.The results show that:(1)Environmental regulation will have a huge impact on heavy polluting enterprises.It will lead to a sharp increase in the environmental cost of heavy pollution enterprises,and the fine expenditure will reduce profits,affect the daily production activities of enterprises,reduce the profit margin of enterprises,and affect the competitiveness of enterprises.(2)Enhanced environmental regulation will promote green innovation of heavily polluting enterprises.When an enterprise is large enough and has good profitability,such external pressure will instead become a driving force.The enterprise can save energy and reduce emissions through technological innovation,gain product advantages,and obtain certain government subsidies,which can effectively make up for the increased environmental costs of the enterprise.Therefore,the enterprise will be more willing to invest in green innovation.(3)Green innovation investment by heavy polluting enterprises can help enterprises save energy and reduce emissions,and reduce their production costs;Reduce fine expenses and increase profits;Help enterprises to improve the utilization of resources,reduce the emission of pollutants in the production process;Improve the performance of social responsibilities,reduce external financing constraints,and effectively ease the pressure on costs,profits,investment and financing caused by changes in external environmental regulations.
