Hydrolysis of aluminum-based alloy composite powder has the advantages of fast rate,high hydrogen conversion rate,safe reaction process,and high hydrogen purity.It can provide high-quality hydrogen sources for hydrogen-oxygen fuel cells,new energy vehicles,and outdoor lighting equipment.The recovery and reuse of its hydrolysate is conducive to saving resources and reducing environmental pollution,and has far-reaching significance for promoting the development of green circular economy.However,there are few research reports on the environmental impact and recycling of hydrolysate of Al-based alloys powder.In this study,the recovery process of hydrogen production products from the hydrolysis of Al-Bi-X(X:Zn,Sn)alloy powder was systematically studied by laser particle size analyzer,EDTA back titration and scanning electron microscopy,and determined the optimal recovery process of hydrolysate from alloy powder.The main research results obtained by this research were as follows:(1)This study clarified the influence of different volume of NaOH solution(concentration of 3mol/L)and reaction time(FRT)on the recovery and purity of activated metals Bi,Zn and Sn in the hydrogen production product of alloy powder hydrolysis.The research results showed that the larger the volume of NaOH solution was,the lower the recovery rate of activated metals was.The longer the reaction time(FRT)was,the lower the recovery rate of activated metal was,but the less impurities it contained.(2)This study clarified the effect of different volumes of NaOH solution(concentration of 3mol/L),reaction temperature,reaction time(SRT),seed crystal type,mother liquor concentration and seed crystal addition on the recovery rate and particle size distribution of Al(OH)3.The research results showed that the recovery rate of Al(OH)3 in the hydrogen production product of Al-Bi-Zn alloy powder by hydrolysis could reach up to 69.53%,and the minimum average particle size was only 0.925μm;The recovery rate of Al(OH)3 in the hydrogen production product of Al-Bi-Sn alloy powder was up to 54.55%,and its average particle size was at least 1.451μm..(3)In this study,the morphology and crystal structure of the recovered Al(OH)3 were characterized.The research results showed that the micro morphology of the recovered Al(OH)3 was mainly rod-like and flake-like,and the surface layer was rough.The recovered Al(OH)3 had no obvious impurities,and its crystal structure was mainly Cibbsite-Al(OH)3 and Bayerite-Al(OH)3.
