| Wallpaper has been widely concerned in recent years as the home decoration.Due to the advantages of convenient decoration,wide variety,good aesthetic,and more environmental protection,the demand for wallpaper,as mildew proof and flame retardant,has increased significantly in quantity and quality with the improvement of people’s economic level.Research and development of new multi-functional wallpaper is the development tendency in the future.In this study,high strength and high bulk thickness bleached chemical mechanical pulp(CMP)was used as raw material,together with the addition of bleached kraft softwood pulp,modified fillers and functional additives,the wallpaper base paper was endowed with high strength,high permeability and dimensional stability,which produced high strength and high shape stability wallpaper matrix material with mildew proof and flame retardant properties.The implementation of the project can improve the production technology and product quality of wallpaper base paper,which is of great significance to promote the product structure adjustment and technological innovation of China’s paper industry.In this paper,the effects of beating and blending process on the properties of wallpaper base paper were studied by using bleached chemical mechanical pulp and bleached kraft softwood pulp as raw materials.The results showed that the suitable beating degree of bleached kraft softwood pulp was 28°SR;The optimum ratio of bleached chemical mechanical pulp to bleached kraft softwood pulp is 60%bleached CMP and 40%bleached kraft softwood pulp;Under the optimum technological conditions,the properties of wallpaper base paper are bursting index of1.75 k Pa·m~2/g,tensile index of 32 N·m/g and tear index of 10.7m N·m~2/g.Using maleic anhydride as interface modifier,the effects of chitosan dosage,maleic anhydride dosage,reaction temperature and rotation speed on the properties of modified calcium carbonate and paper physical properties were studied by orthogonal design.The results showed that the modification conditions were as follows:chitosan 5%,maleic anhydride2%,temperature 50℃,stirring speed 500 R/min.The results of FTIR,SEM,XPS,TGA and zeta potential analysis showed that chitosan was successfully coated on PCC,which indicated that the interaction between PCC,maleic anhydride and chitosan was not a simple physical adsorption,but a chemical bond interaction.Compared with the unmodified PCC,the retention rate of modified PCC is higher,and the opacity and brightness of the paper can be improved,and the influence of fillers on the strength of paper can be reduced.Using sodium tripolyphosphate as crosslinking agent and chlorhexidine as raw material,drug loaded chitosan microspheres were prepared by ion crosslinking method.The effect of the ratio of chlorhexidine to chitosan on the properties of drug loaded chitosan microspheres was studied.The results showed that when the ratio of chlorhexidine to chitosan was 1:2,the entrapment efficiency of chitosan was basically stable,reaching 78.16%.The results of 14 days mold proof experiment showed that the anti-mold effect of wallpaper base paper under this ratio was the best,reaching grade 0.The formation mechanism of chitosan microspheres was analyzed by IR,TEM,TG and zeta potential.The results showed that chlorhexidine and chitosan were combined in the form of physical crosslinking under the cross-linking effect of sodium tripolyphosphate to form microspheres of about 300 nm.The synergistic effect of sepiolite on Intumescent Flame-Retardant(IFR)flame retardant and the application of sepiolite(SEP)synergistic IFR(SEP IFR flame retardant)in wallpaper base paper were studied.The results show that sepiolite has synergistic effect on IFR flame retardant,which can promote the decomposition of ammonium polyphosphate and accelerate the formation of carbonization protective layer.The limiting oxygen index(LOI)results show that 1%sepiolite can play an effective synergistic effect,and LOI is 27.8%.SEP IFR flame retardant wallpaper base paper has the property of flame retardant.Thermogravimetric analysis showed that the final residual amount of SEP IFR was 35.2%,which indicated that SEP IFR flame retardant could protect wallpaper base paper.SEM and Energy Dispersive Spectrometer(EDS)further verified that SEP IFR flame retardant could protect wallpaper base paper. |
