| With the gradual complexity and diversification of urban problems, especially the expansion of urban space and the serious imbalance of functional structure, how to reasonably optimize the urban spatial pattern has become an urgent issue to be solved. The division of production, living and ecological space is a new way to differentiate land and space for the new era,and it has become the focus of land and space planning to promote the coordination of space with " Production-Living-Ecological " and the overall optimization and relative balance of human-land system in structure and function. At the same time, spatial planning has become an important strategy for scientific spatial governance and high-quality urban development by paying attention to the laws of social choice at the microscopic scale and integrating new data and modern information technology.Based on this, this study follows the logic of "spatial identification and functional evaluation-comparative advantage discrimination-spatial zoning optimization",based on the theory of "Production-Living-Ecological",and conducts a study on the identification, matching and optimization of "Production-Living-Ecological" functional spaces in the central city of Wuhan.Firstly, this paper uses land use data to classify the production, living and ecological spaces in the study area, supplemented by machine learning algorithms and new POI-based data,to establish a "Production-Living-Ecological" function evaluation system, and to quantitatively measure the "Production-Living-Ecological" functions in the grid-scale space.Secondly,we match and analyse the spatial and functional combinations of the "Production-Living-Ecological" and identify the contradictions and conflicts between space and function in the study area. Finally, based on the comparative advantage model, the comparative advantages of the "Production-Living-Ecological" functions at the precinct scale and grid scale are determined, based on which the optimisation principles are set,the focus and direction of optimisation for the "Production-Living-Ecological" functions in each study unit are clarified, and the " Production-Living-Ecological " spatial optimisation in the central city of Wuhan is proposed. The main findings of this study are as follows:(1)The spatial distribution of the "Production-Living-Ecological" spaces and "Production-Living-Ecological" functions in Wuhan’s central urban area shows spatial clustering differences. In terms of "Production-Living-Ecological" spaces, the area of "Production-Living-Ecological" spaces in Wuhan’s central urban area varies greatly, with production spaces and living spaces showing different distribution characteristics inside and outside the Third Ring Road.In terms of the "Production-Living-Ecological" functional areas, the various functional dominant areas show diverse clustering and spatial consistency, with production and ecological dominant areas showing a polycentric distribution and living dominant areas showing a sporadic distribution and a tendency to concentrate to the south, while the degree of clustering of single dominant areas is lower than that of multifunctional dominant areas.(2)Based on the structural matching of the "Production-Living-Ecological" spaces and the "Production-Living-Ecological" functions, the coordination of "human-land" in the central city of Wuhan is effectively identified as a match,a relative match and a mismatch This reflects the extent to which the actual use of urban land matches the demand for human activities. The mismatch and relative match account for about 65% of the total, indicating that Wuhan’s central urban area needs to focus on the coordination of "people, land and space" when optimising the urban pattern and planning for the future.(3)Different research units at the grid scale have their own focus on optimization and their specific optimization directions, and the resulting optimization solutions have diversified and refined characteristics. In general, the central city of Wuhan should strengthen the comprehensive management of single-function advantageous areas and focus on mixed-function development while strengthening spatial advantages. It should promote the reasonable transfer of industries from strong production functional areas to weak production functional areas,so as to achieve a balanced spatial distribution of production advantageous functional areas and promote coordinated regional development. It should also make full use of Wuhan’s lake resources, establish an open city with lakes, and under the principle of "protection and utilization",weaken the antagonistic thinking of production, life and ecology, and maximize the role of ecological space.(4)The rapid development of information technology can provide data basis and technical support for the refinement and flexibility of urban spatial planning research. The analysis framework of "Production-Living-Ecological" function spatial identification, matching and optimization research, which is digitalized in process, visualized in process and refined in result,is the evidence of the important role of new data and modern information technology in the development planning research of complex cities. |
