| Due to the unique energy level range of terahertz waves,the study of the influence of terahertz radiation on the structure and function of neurons and the thermal effect is of great significance to the development of its neurobiological effect.Meanwhile,model simulation,as a convenient and intuitive means of research,is widely used in various fields.However,there is still a lack of theoretical models to explore the transmission characteristics and thermal effect of terahertz waves in neurons.Therefore,the transmission model and thermal effect model of terahertz waves in neurons are established in this paper to analyze the characteristics of terahertz wave propagation in neurons.Firstly,aiming at the transmission model of terahertz waves in neurons,a three-layer spherical nerve cell body model was established,which was fitted by the second-order Debye model,and the nerve cell-axon model was constructed.The transmission characteristics of terahertz waves in nerve cells are studied by using finite element method to solve Maxwell equations.The effects of radiation frequency,radiation power,cell size,cell morphology and background medium on terahertz wave transmission in neurons were investigated.Secondly,aiming at the problem of the thermal effect model of the interaction between terahertz waves and neurons,a thermal effect model of the interaction between neurons and terahertz waves is established on the basis of the transmission model.In order to study the situation of neurons receiving terahertz wave irradiation,a three-layer aircerebrospinal flu-neuron model was established in this paper.By selecting appropriate boundary conditions and parameters and solving the biological heat conduction equation,the temperature changes of neurons in cerebrospinal fluid under continuous terahertz wave irradiation were numerically simulated,and the factors affecting the temperature field were analyzed in detail.Finally,the terahertz biological stimulation platform was built to verify the simulation conclusions and conjectures.The terahertz stimulus module can generate terahertz waves stably,and different terahertz stimulus schemes are designed to radiate neuron samples.Through a large number of experiments and collection of experimental data,the growth and development data of neurons and changes in synaptic transmission were obtained.Statistical analysis of the data revealed the possibility of terahertz stimulation affecting the growth and development of neurons and regulating synaptic transmission. |
