Analysis Of Perceived Urban Vitality And Influencing Factors In Street Space Based On Multi-source Data

Urban vitality describes the attractiveness,functional diversity,and mobility of urban spaces resulting from human activities and interactions.Vibrant urban spaces support diverse human activities,promote social exchanges and interactions,and enhance residents’ sense of security and belonging to urban spaces;these diverse activities include residents’ economic,social,and cultural activities,and can be characterized as different dimensions of urban vitality.Quantifying and understanding the spatial characteristics of urban vitality is increasingly becoming a hot topic in the fields of territorial spatial planning,social perception and urban computing,and it is important to improve the quality of life of urban residents and promote sustainable urban development by analyzing the factors influencing urban vitality and making policy recommendations.The current analysis of urban vitality usually takes neighborhoods or parcels as the basic unit of analysis,while street space,as a public space in the city with various functions such as transportation and economic activities,not only has the function of transportation,but also carries the daily activities of urban residents.Taking the urban street space as the unit of analysis,revealing the multi-dimensional urban vitality distribution characteristics of the street space and analyzing its influencing factors can help improve the quality of urban street space,build a livable city with higher street vitality,and promote the organic renewal and sustainable development of the city.With the continuous development of intelligent sensing technology,urban multi-source spatio-temporal big data is becoming more and more abundant,which provides new sensing means and data sources for multidimensional urban vitality perception of street space.This paper applies multi-source data such as Di Di cab and bicycle sharing trajectory data,user review data from the public review platform and POI data of cultural facilities,takes the street space within the third ring of Chengdu as the analysis unit,perceives and analyzes urban social vitality,economic vitality and cultural vitality on the basis of data pre-processing such as constructing the street network of the study area and map matching,identifies the spatial differentiation pattern of urban vitality on the street unit and its correlation characteristics,and detects urban vitality depressions.The spatial variation pattern of urban vitality and its correlation characteristics are identified,and urban vitality depressions are detected,and the spatial Lorenz curve and Gini index are applied to measure the equalization of urban vitality distribution.By constructing a system of urban vitality influencing factors,we calculate the index values of each factor based on multiple sources of data such as Baidu Street View images,Tencent Easygo,Zhilian Recruitment,and Lianjia Home house prices,combine image semantic segmentation and GIS spatial analysis,and apply the geographic detector model to detect the influencing factors of urban vitality in street space from both singlefactor and multi-factor perspectives,and propose a strategy to improve urban vitality in street space.The main research results are summarized as follows.The main research results are summarized as follows:Spatially divergent characteristics of urban vitality of urban street units in Chengdu.In general,there are some differences in the spatial distribution characteristics of urban vitality in different dimensions of urban street space in Chengdu.The vitality value of streets in the core area of the city is higher than that of streets in the peripheral area,and it decreases significantly when extending from the city center to the vicinity of the second ring road.The streets with high social vitality values are located in various centers of people’s production and life,while the streets with high economic vitality values are generally located in areas with dense human and commercial clusters,and the streets with high cultural vitality values are relatively concentrated in the central city.In terms of their correlation characteristics,social and cultural vitality values are slightly higher in the east than in the west,and streets around large shopping areas have both high social and economic vitality,while cultural vitality is not significantly correlated with social and economic vitality in terms of spatial distribution.The spatial distribution of cultural vitality is not significantly correlated with social vitality and economic vitality.The phenomenon of vitality depressions such as high social vitality and low economic vitality generally exists in street space,and the degree of equalization of urban vitality is relatively low.Analysis and detection of factors influencing urban vitality of street units in Chengdu.on the basis of the "5D" urban built environment factors " index system,an urban vitality influence factor including 4 factors of street external environment,land use,traffic conditions,population and employment,and 11 factors of green rate,sky rate,building density,mixture of POI,POI density,house price level,road sparsity,bus convenience,subway convenience,crowd density and employment convenience was constructed.Land use and population factors have the greatest influence on the urban vitality of street space within the third ring of Chengdu,among which the indicators of crowd density and maxture of POI have the strongest explanatory power on social vitality,the indicators of POI density and crowd density have the strongest explanatory power on economic vitality,and the indicators of employment convenience and POI density have the strongest explanatory power on cultural vitality.At the same time,the magnitude of urban vitality intensity is jointly governed by all factors in the street space influencing factors,and the interaction between the influencing indicators mainly shows the result of non-linear enhancement of urban vitality,and the combined interaction between the main single factor and other factors has the greatest influence on urban vitality.From the perspective of street function types,the highest percentage of streets with high urban vitality values is in the commercial category.The explanatory power of the main influencing factors of urban vitality of different types of streets is basically consistent with the overall,and there are slight differences in the degree of influence of some indicators,and the common characteristics of the same type of streets lead to a decrease in the explanatory power of some influencing factors.In this paper,from three perspectives of urban residents’ social,economic and cultural activities,we consider the combination of data application scenarios and analysis methods,and adopt the travel OD of DDT cab track data and Mobay bicycle sharing data,the weighted index of user reviews of street stores and the number of POIs of cultural facilities to measure multi-dimensional urban vitality,revealing the spatial heterogeneity of urban vitality in different streets which expands the perspective of urban vitality analysis based on multi-source data.The detection of urban vitality influencing factors in different dimensions provides a basic basis for accurately improving the urban vitality of street space,which helps to optimize the creation of urban vitality and refine the urban design of street space,thus improving the quality of life of urban residents and promoting sustainable urban development.
