With the improvement of the people’s living standard,in order to meet the needs of high protein, the fishery of our country is developing rapidly, seafood is becoming more and more popular food because of its high nutritional value and good taste.Fishery resources are abundant in the east coast of our country, providing rich seafood for coastal residents and the people of the whole country. At the same time, the region is economically developed and industry-intensive,Large-scale production of industrial and human living activities are accompanied with large consumption of resources and energy, and severe ecological environment problems, thus the eastern offshore has also become an important gathering area of organic pollutants.Among them, pesticide pollutants have become the focus of attention due to their variety, high detection frequency and long residual time.Ingestion of seafood is an important way to expose human body to pesticides. These pollutants may be transmitted along the food chain and eventually enter human body, causing potential threats. In order to comprehensively understand the residual levels, pollution characteristics, pollution sources and health risks of organochlorine pesticides(OCPs),pyrethroids(PYRs),organophosphorus pesticides(OPPs)and diuron in marine organisms of eastern China, this study took typical marine organisms near the eastern coastal waters of China as research objects.Gas chromatography-triple quadrupole Tandem mass spectrometer(GC-MS/MS)and liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometer(LC-MS/MS)were used to determine and analyse the residue of four types of pesticides in the body. The findings demonstrated that the sum of∑OCPs、∑PYRs、∑OPPs and diuron in seafood ranged from 2.2 to 1865 ng·g-1dw(dry weight)(mean:72 ng·g-1dw)、5.2 to762 ng·g-1dw(mean:58 ng·g-1dw)、47 to 6638 ng·g-1dw(mean:707 ng·g-1dw)and nd to3.3 ng·g-1dw(mean:0.49 ng·g-1 dw).Compared with the average residue level of marine organisms in other areas at home and abroad, the overall residual level of OCPs in marine organisms in this study area is lower and mainly DDTs.Compared with the existing national standards, the residue of∑PYRs in eastern coastal seafood in this study exceeded the MRL values of Japanese Positive List System, but did not exceed the relevant domestic standards. The average residue of OPPs in seafood is 1 order of magnitude higher than OCPs and PYRs,which may be related to the overuse of OPPs.Compared with the residues of OCPs、PYRs and OPPs in eastern coastal seafood in this study, the detection rate and average residue level of diuron were lower, which may be mainly related to the lower lipophile and higher resistance to degradation of diuron.Compared with mollusks and crustaceans,∑OCPs were more likely to accumulate in fish with higher fat content and trophic level.Compared with omnivorous crustaceans and fishes,OPPs and diuron were more likely to accumulate in mollusks which were mainly composed of filter-feeding bottom suspended solids. In terms of spatial distribution, both OCPs and PYRs have the highest levels of residual pollution in Yantai coastal water, while OPPs and diuron have the highest levels in Lianyungang Sea area and Zhoushan Sea area, respectively.Besides, there is no significant difference in spatial distribution.Source analysis showed that OCPs pollution was mainly caused by historical residues,HCHs was mainly from agricultural sources, and DDTs might be related to the use of dicofol in agriculture. The residual pollution of PYRs may be closely related to urban health protection activities on land in coastal areas. The increasing population in eastern coastal cities leads to the increasing use of PYRs insecticides for public health protection. The correlation analysis showed that the residue of OPPs in eastern coastal seafood was correlated with the rice planting area and rice yield in coastal areas, indicating that the residue of OPPs in eastern coastal seafood may be related to the use of pesticides in the process of rice planting in coastal areas. In addition to being an herbicide, diuron is often used as the active additive of antifouling paint, which is used to prevent marine organisms from attaching to the surface of the ship. There are many ports and ships in the east coast of China, and marine activities are frequent. Therefore, the residues of diuron in marine organisms are likely to be derived from the use of herbicides in agricultural fields and antifouling paints in ships, especially in ports and areas with high sea traffic, which are closely related to the latter. The health risk assessment shows that the total risk index(HI)of four types of pesticides in different marine products is far less than 1(Except for the mollusk(Razor clam)in the Lianyungang sea area),and the health risk is at a safe level. The risk to children is relatively high among different populations, the highest risk values for different populations were found in mollusks. In addition, there are some differences between the contribution of different pesticides to human health and the contribution of residues in seafood, among which DDTs、tertramethrin、triazophos and quinalphos are the main risk contributors of pesticide pollution in eastern coastal seafood,The health and ecological risks should be noted. |
