| Statistics,as a method and tool for data collection and quantitative analysis,currently plays an irreplaceable role in various aspects.The master of applied statistics is also popular in recent years,and the number of applicants is increasing year by year.However,the current employment situation is extremely severe and complicated.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze the market demand of applied statistics professionals,so as to provide reference for applied statistics talents facing employment problems and provide basis for colleges and universities to formulate training programs.In this thesis,we have analyzed the demand for master’s degree talents in applied statistics based on the recruitment information published by Boss’ s direct recruitment website.Firstly,descriptive statistics are conducted on recruitment information from the perspectives of recruitment companies,qualifications,and positions.It is found that the positions are mainly distributed in the Internet and healthcare industries.There are many positions in East China and South China,accounting for 42.5% and 27.7%,respectively.Nearly 48% of enterprises are in the unfunded stage.Most positions require 3-5 years of work experience;The types of positions are mainly technical,economic management,and biological.They are mainly engaged in data analysis,biomedical analysis,financial and economic analysis,and other fields.In terms of comprehensive skills,enterprises are more focused on recruiting talents with independent thinking,meticulous and serious ability,learning ability,analytical ability and problem solving ability.Secondly,we have constructed a LDA theme model.The core requirements of the employment market for applied statistics professionals are professional skills,project skills,and comprehensive abilities.Next,Wikipedia is used as the pre-training Word2 vec model,and the training method is to combine the negative sampling of the skip-gram model,carry out vectographic representation of all texts,calculate the similarity between each two post requirements,and put them into the spectral clustering model.The job types are divided into data analysis,operation management,and biomedicine.Among the three job types,the demand for data analysis accounts for the largest proportion,with the highest average salary,with a median of 12K/month.The operation management class has the lowest demand for experience,with a wide industry distribution.The biomedicine class values work experience most and is highly professional.Based on the above analysis results,KSAO(Knowledge,Skill,Ability,Others)model is used to put forward training suggestions from the perspectives of enterprises,universities and individuals.Enterprises should improve their own talent development strategy,carry out targeted training according to the characteristics of the post,carry out regular internal exchange activities,and cooperate with colleges and universities;Colleges and universities should set up theoretical courses,data analysis tools and other related knowledge courses,learn cutting-edge market theories and software,introduce action teaching mode,and cooperate with enterprises to train talents in line with the needs of the modern market.Job seekers themselves should learn professional knowledge,understand the market,improve their professional quality and comprehensive quality,better adapt to the job requirements. |
