Visualization of marine environmental data plays an important role in the process of human research and utilization of the ocean,which is the basic ability of marine research.At present,the application of marine environmental data visualization method in C / S architecture system has become mature,and various two-dimensional and three-dimensional visualization methods have been implemented efficiently.However,in the B / S architecture system,the visualization of marine environment data is limited by data organization,network transmission and browser performance.The realization of visualization mainly focuses on two-dimensional visualization or spherical three-dimensional visualization,and there are performance bottlenecks for some visualization methods.Aiming at the problems in the application of visualization methods in the web environment,this paper studies the visualization methods of scalar field data and vector field data on the web.For the scalar field data,the compression method based on video coding is introduced to compress the 3D time-varying scalar field data,and the ray casting algorithm is improved to make the bounding box coordinates match the geographical coordinates;for the vector field data,the LOD model based on quad tree is constructed for the global scale vector field data to realize the fast scheduling of vector field data,and a GPU accelerated particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed System visualization technology scheme.The main work of this paper is as follows.(1)This paper presents a method for visualization of spatiotemporal data field in Web environment.For spatiotemporal visualization of scalar field data on Web,traditional methods are limited by the amount of time-varying data volume and the rendering efficiency of browser,which cannot meet the needs of real-time visualization.In this study,video compression technology is applied to the compression of time-varying scalar field data,which improves the efficiency of data network transmission.At the same time,the ray casting algorithm is improved considering the geographical coordinates.Finally,the algorithm is implemented by using Web GL.(2)The existing dynamic visualization scheme of vector field data in Web environment is optimized.In order to meet the needs of real-time visualization of global scale high spatial resolution vector field data in browser,this paper proposes a scheme of constructing quad tree LOD model of vector field data in server.The browser uses web worker thread to realize fast scheduling of multi-level texture of vector field,and uses frame buffer off screen rendering technology to realize GPU acceleration of vector data particle system visualization.(3)A visualization platform of marine environment data based on B / S architecture is designed and implemented.The platform includes two-dimensional visualization subsystem and three-dimensional visualization subsystem,which realizes the visualization of marine environment data from various sources.At the same time,the visualization methods in the third and fourth chapters are applied in this system,and the effectiveness of this method is verified by comparing with traditional methods.
