As the information age continues to evolve, information of all kinds continues to emerge in society, and its quantity and scale have far exceeded our imagination. How to make the really important information get more attention, and what factors affect the hotness of the information are questions that deserve to be studied in depth. The characteristics of information content and the interactions between information can all contribute to the dissemination of important information on the web.It is therefore of great practical importance to investigate the mechanisms by which various factors influence the popularity of information, which in turn can effectively solve some practical problems, such as policy advocacy,help-seeking and online family tracing. The main contents and innovations of this paper are as follows:(1)The spread and competition of online information under the influence of multiple factors. The popularity of information is directly influenced by the level of interest in it.The rarity, deviation and category of a piece of information can affect the level of interest in it.In addition, the publisher of the information can also have an impact on the competitive spread of information. In order to investigate the influence mechanism of the above factors, this paper establishes the IC_SIR model and analyses the influence of four factors on the competitive dissemination of information with the help of a Monte Carlo solver multivariate research method. The results show that the rarer the information, the greater the deviation from reality, and the more followers the publisher has,the more competitive the information is.(2)The influence of consistency and suppression of online information on dissemination. In this paper, the principal-agent mechanism is introduced into the competitive information dissemination model, defining hotlisted information as delegated information, information similar to hotlisted information as similar agent information, and information dissimilar to hotlisted information as dissimilar agent information, and thus establishing the PA_SIR information dissemination model.Due to the influence of interest, topic opinion and herd mentality, people will actively search for and spread information similar to the hot list information, while information different from the hot list information will not receive much attention in a short period of time. The results of experimental simulations show that hotlisted information promotes the spread of information similar to it and discourages the spread of information dissimilar to it.Therefore, the best time to post a message to get more attention is when a message of the same type is on the Hot List.
